A tie for the last qualifier s place in either championship will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off. TUESDAY, JUNE 6. B) Match Play General numerical draw will be used. For purposes of determining places in the draw, ties in qualifying rounds shall be decided by a blind draw, except that places of those participating in a play-off shall be determined by order on the public scoreboard summary and by performance in the play-off. WEDNESDAY A.M., JUNE 7, First Round, Boys and Girls, 18-holes. WEDNESDAY P.M., JUNE 7, Second Round Boys and Quarterfinal Round Girls, 18-holes. In the event of a tied match, (a) the winner shall be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off and (b) the stipulated round is deemed to extend to as many holes as are required for a match to be won. PLAYER CHECK-IN PAGE 3 All contestants must register with the NGA prior to their first round starting time. Registration will be located in front of the golf shop and staffed during the following times: Tuesday, June 6, 7 a.m.-10 a.m.; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. PRACTICE AREAS Practice areas will open one hour prior to the first starting time each day of competition. Complimentary pre-round warm-up balls will be available for contestants on the practice range. DRESS CODE Players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. Hats/visors must be worn with brim forward. For boys, only shirts with sleeves and collars or mock turtlenecks may be worn and tucked in at all times. Girls may wear sleeveless golf shirts. Shorts may be worn but jeans or denim shorts are not allowed. The following items are forbid: tank tops, T-shirts, cut-off shorts, gym shorts, earrings (males) and body piercings. Absolutely No Metal Spikes. CADDIES A player may provide his/her own caddie. Caddies are prohibited from taking transportation during the stipulated round. Exception: A player may not use a parent or guardian as a caddie during the championship. STARTING TIMES It is your responsibility to be at your designated starting tee early. An official clock will be present on the first and tenth tees. The clocks in the practice areas are there for your convenience but are not official. Included are links to players, past champions, groupings and starting times, real-time scoring updates and the match play bracket. Lunch will be available for purchase from the club. If eating at the club, payers should eat either prior to or after their round.
RULES MEETING PAGE 4 There will not be a formal rules meeting prior to the competition. Contestants must review the attached rules material and will receive any pertinent instructions from the starter prior to their starting time. SCORE POSTING The NGA will post all qualifying scores to your GHIN number for handicap purposes. Players should not post these scores individually. PRIZES WINNER: Custody of championship trophy, gold medal and a crystal trophy to keep. RUNNER-UP: Silver medal and a crystal trophy. SEMIFINALISTS: Bronze Medal.
