Dan was only in the club for a couple of years but managed to become a friend to all of us. He will be missed by all. Please keep Dan & Anne and their family in your thoughts and prayers during these times of sadness. The boating season is in full swing as the weather has FINALLY decided to bless us with warmth so the water can warm up enough to actually swim in non-frigid water, as it is so deep that it takes longer to get to a decent temperature. The fleet review is coming up on us soon, which means that the Commodore (me) will be having a cocktail hour for the members 1 hour before the Fleet review begins. Remember that the cocktail hour is for the members only not your guests. So please try to come early and have a drink on Jacque and myself. Hope to see you all soon and have a safe boating season. 2015 Commodore Rick Watros

SEA BREEZE 2015 VICE COMMODORE ~ LUISA ZALENSKI Hi Baysiders: My sincere condolences and prayers to Ann for the passing of Dan. Life is to short and you just don t know what the Lord has in store us. He left us way to early. We are all here for you Ann. Great time at Algonac we had 12 boats, and boy was it hot. Thank god for hatch air conditioning. We had such a wild time Kelly broke her ankle, so sorry that that happened. She was a trooper though and she never went home. Trying to keep everything stocked and thank you for picking up after yourselves. Please let me know if there is something that you would like me to stock. Hopefully we can get the doors situated or we can just put them back up until we are ready to paint them. Luisa REAR COMMODORE ~ P/C BILL IMBIROWICZ No Report. FLEET CAPTAIN ~ DAVE TUCKER Hello Bayside, For those who have wondered how we will remove the old spilling, a farm jack, chain and hook were purchased. Using this system of wrapping the chain around the spile and putting the lip of the jack under the last chain wrap, you will have at least 3 feet of vertical lift. PC Bob Ervin found this method easy and reasonably quick (even for 1 burly person). Thanks again to those who cut the grass and keep the yard looking nice. See you at the meeting and happy "hot as..." boating to you! Bye for now, DR Tucker 2

SEA BREEZE 2015 SECRETARY ~ KARL HEID Here you go... The special assessment of $44.00 for new spring spiles will be due by 9/4. I will be collecting payments at the August and September General Membership Meetings. For anyone that may be interested, there is an antique boat show in Hessel on 8/8. If anyone else is interested in attending, I'm thinking of heading up Saturday morning, and coming back on Sunday. Here is the link to the event: http://www.lchistorical.org/boatfest.html Enjoy the summer! Soon enough we'll be wondering where it went... 2015 ABYA DELEGATE ~ P/C MARIBEL BERMUDEZ Next Meeting: When Mon, August 3, 7:30pm 9:30pm _ Cancelled Where Conger Bay Boat Club (Island Meeting) Who passed away on Saturday, July 18th The Quote In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie promised before the world began Titus 1:2 3 With Our Sincere Sympathy To Ann Zowada & Family On the passing of Dan Zowada, Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

SEA BREEZE 2015 AUGUST ANNIVERSARIES Luisa & Rick Zalenski ~ 24th FFF Notable Quote: I never said I wanted a 'happy' life but an interesting one. From separation and loss, I have learned a lot. I have become strong and resilient, as is the case of almost every human being exposed to life and to the world. We don't even know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden strength forward.
