Chico AquaJets Age Group & Master Policies andcies & Procedures 04/13/12 In Motion Fitness would like to welcome all Chico AquaJets families to our club. We encourage you to utilize and enjoy our facility. While at In Motion Fitness, it is important that you abide by our club and Chico Aquajets rules. During your Chico AquaJets swim times (all scheduled practice times), you are a Chico AquaJets and must abide by their rules. During all other times, if you are a member of In Motion Fitness, you must abide by all the club rules. All Club, pool and children policies must be followed by swimmers, parents and their guests. KEY TAGS: Key tags will be issues to all Chico AquaJets swimmers. Their parents and guests must sign in on the Chico AquaJets guest register each time they come in the facility. If the swimmer has forgotten their key tag, they will need some form of ID to check in. The key tags are limited usage and the swimmer will be allowed into the club only during designated practice times. GUESTS: Guest must sign the Chico AquaJets guest register at the front desk and abide by all Chico AquaJets rules. SPA USAGE: It has been recommended by physiologists prior to any workout that swimmers should not be in water warmer than the water they will be working out in. This can cause cramping of the muscles and make the muscles less efficient during the first part of a swimming workout. For this reason the coaches of the Chico AquaJets and IMF recommend that swimmers do not use the spas prior to workouts. - Because of the high usage of the pools and spas between April 30 th and Oct. 1 st, the CAJ and IMF members of the AquaJets swim team may not use the spas or pools before or after practice. - IMF members must wait a min. of then minutes after practice to use the spas and pools. - After Oct. 1 st Chico AquaJets may be allowed usage of Spa 2 ONLY (the spa closest to the Specialty pool) for 10 minutes after workout (THE CHILD D PARENT MUST BE ON DECK AND SUPERVISING TO BE ABLE TO USE SPA 2). - Spa 1 (the spa closest to the locker rooms) may not be used by children under the age of 14. Remember.the spas are for quiet time and not for swimming and playing. If the privilege is abused, the spa privilege will be revoked. If the parent is not on deck, the child must change and be ready for his/her parent to pickup. Under the age of 14: Children must have parents/guardians with them at all times (no exceptions). Use of the Aquatic, Specialty, Resort Pools and Splash Park: Only an IMF member may use the other pools, spas and splash park. - If the child is under 14 years, their parent(s) must be on deck (and supervising) to use the other pools, spas or splash park. - Please be sure to refer and observe all IMF outside Pool Rules. Deck Use: There are specific areas designated for observers to sit. Please refer to site map. Please only use chairs to observe (the lounges are reserved for IMF sun bathers). - The deck is a WALK ONLY zone (no running or horse play allowed). Showers: Chico AquaJets swimmers must use the outside showers (unless they are members of In Motion Fitness). The south four (4) showers in the south section of both men s and women s locker room have been designated for In Motion (AquaJets) swimmers. Please, do not use the front showers. Towels: Chico AquaJets are required to bring their own towel (please do not use IMF towels). Locker Rooms: Chico AquaJets are not permitted to use the locker rooms (unless they are members, and age 14 and older, along with being accompanied by their parents)
- Chico AquaJets may use outside showers and outside bathrooms. - All swim gear must be taken outside to be stored on deck in the team lounge area. - When a Chico AquaJet (who is an IMF member) is using the locker rooms, please remember: 1. Be respectful of other In Motion Members 2. No running, yelling, throwing items, horse play, etc. 3. Children over the age of four (4) are not permitted in the locker room of the opposite sex. 4. If the privilege is abused, the privilege will be revoked. Steam and Sauna: Chico AquaJets are not allowed to use these facilities. Post Practice: Non-members and their guests must leave In Motion Fitness within 30 minutes of the end of the practice session. As a guest: Please know that any guest/non-member found using the other areas of the club will result in denied access for future visits. We again would like to welcome the best team in Nor Cal to In Motion Fitness. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Barry Henderson (Chico Area Swim Association Head Coach).
