PREAMBLE As was done with the Track Teams in previous seasons, it is now time for the teams to register with the UCI. They will notably be able to take part in all events of the International Calendar 2018-2019 with riders wearing their team apparel. Among others, it is certainly the best means for Teams to enable their sponsors to be displayed on TV worldwide and in the Media during the off season on the Road for instance. 1. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE 1.1 THE TEAM Deadline Deadline for sending back registration forms to your National Federation: 6 th January 2018 at the latest. Registration forms The Team receives a registration form which shall be completed and returned to its National Federation for validation. Important: a rider belonging to a team registered with the UCI may not carry out another role. Contract One signed copy of the contract for each rider must be attached to the registration form. As per article 3.7.023 (see point 2 hereunder), the contract must at least contain the stipulations of the standard contract presented in the article 3.7.029. NB regarding duration of contracts: As Track Teams are registered for a complete track season; starting from the day after the World Championships (05.03.2018) until the last day of competition of the next World Championships (beginning of March), we strongly advise to define the duration of contracts until the end of the track season as well (03.03.2019). If not, you will need to send new contracts on 1st January 2019 if you want the riders to participate in World Cup in beginning of 2019. Please note that it is possible to add riders to the Team at any point during the season. The contract must be transmitted to the UCI at least one month before the first participation of the rider to a track race. Equipment The article 3.7.018 says that with the registration form, the Team must submit to the UCI a colour graphic design of its apparel with logos of their sponsors. By means of uniformity, you will find an example under the point 3 hereunder. Miscellaneous The registration forms non-conforming to the prescriptions mentioned above will be returned to the competent National Federation. 1.2 THE NATIONAL FEDERATION Deadline The National Federation requests the registration of the Teams by sending through the registration form received from the Teams, as well as the copies of signed contracts and the colour graphic design of the jersey to the UCI Sports Department to the attention of Ms. Monia Turin no later than 6 th February 2018. Validation The National Federation checks the registration form, approves it with the stamp, the date and signature of the President on the last page of the aforesaid form, as well as signing all pages.
