Check In Caches must check-in the API Lbby /Frnt Desk and submit a cmpleted waiver fr each player participating in the turnament and a cpy f their fficial rster. Players nt playing in the first game each day can assemble in the designated warm-up area. Rsters All teams are required t carry with them at all times a cpy f their fficial rster, a cpy f each player s birth certificates and a cpy f their insurance. In the event f a player s age challenge each team must shw the player s birth certificate r valid State-issued ID with birth infrmatin. If player is fund t be t ineligible the player will be remved frm turnament, the head cach will be ejected frm the remainder f the turnament. There will be NO FORFEITS because f an ineligible player. A sub may replace the ineligible player if ne is available, therwise an autmatic ut will take place in the same manner as an injured player. A player may appear n ONLY ne rster at a time. Any player fund t be participating with mre than ne team shall result in the secnd team s disqualificatin, and suspensin f the player fr the remainder f the turnament. Warm Up Area The designated warm up area will be n Turf Field #1 in the Sprts Hall r Flex Curt #1 and #2 in the Main Building. Warm up area may be used by teams preparing t play nly.

Hme/Visitr Each team will play (1) game as Hme team and (1) game as Away team in Pl Play runds. Higher seed will have chice fr all Quarterfinal, Semifinal and Champinship games. Fr 2nd inning, pitcher will get 4-6 pitches fr warm up. Live Play Rule - Fr base running purpses, play des nt begin r resume ("live play") until the batter hits the ball fficially in play. Neither a base-n-balls, hit by pitch, passed ball, wild pitch r verthrw frm catcher t pitcher cnstitutes a "live play" fr these purpses. Dead Ball Rule - Fr base running purpses, play ends r ceases (a "dead ball" ccurs) when the pitcher has cntrl f the ball within a 10' radius arund the rubber (umpires discretin). At this pint in time, the umpire must determine the psitin f the base runners at the mment f the "dead ball". Base runners wh have reached at least a pint mid-way (30 feet) between the bases may advance t the next base. Base runners wh have nt yet reach the mid-way pint must return t the preceding base. If the pitcher attempts a cntinuance f play by attempting t thrw-ut an advancing runner after the ball has been returned t him (frm a fellw player) within the "infield area" the pitcher has frfeited a "dead ball" and has fficially resumed the ball in play, allwing players t advance. A "dead ball" will nt ccur again until the ball returns back t the pitcher in the "infield area". Walks f any kind, bases n balls r batters hit by a pitch, are cnsidered "dead ball" activities. Runners d nt advance except as typically caused by the walk itself. Stealing is NOT permitted. Bunting is NOT permitted. HEAD FIRST slides are allwed t any based except hme plate. Runners must AVOID CONTACT and attempt t get t the base r plate and nt trying t interfere with the fielder in any way. Maximum f five (5) runs per inning. 6th inning and extra innings are unlimited. Batting Order (Line-Up) Teams may bat 9 batters. Teams may bat 10 batters. An (EH) may be used in the batting rder (line-up). If yu start with an (EH) yu must end with an (EH) r take an ut at that at-bat. Teams may bat entire rster then use free defensive substitutins in the game. When batting their entire line-up, if a player is unable t bat at any time slely due t n field injury, then n ut will be called but the player is n lnger eligible t play in the rest f game ffensively r defensively Re-Entries: Starters may re-enter ONLY. (Must remain in same batting rder number) N subs can re-enter. Curtesy Runners A curtesy runner fr the catcher and pitcher is allwed with 2 uts. The runner must be a player nt in the game r was last ut.
Ejectins Caches and fans ejected frm a game must exit the venue immediately and nt return fr the rest f that game plus their next scheduled game. Players may stay with their respective teams but may nt participate in rest f that game plus the next scheduled game prvided they display a sprtsmanlike manner fr the duratin f the game. Intentinal Delays The umpire and turnament directrs reserve the right t eject any player, cach r fan fr intentinally delaying a game. A frfeit may be enfrced at the Turnament Directr s discretin. Prtest Judgment calls are final. A cach may plitely ask the umpire wh made the call t clarify a rules interpretatin. The umpires n the field will make a final decisin n the field. Turnament Directr will have final say n rules. There are n paid prtests. Screbks The hme team will be the fficial screbk. The visiting team is encuraged t maintain a bk als. Start f Game All teams are expected t be at fields ready t play 15 minutes prir t game time. Please be prepared t start games early if field, umpires and teams are ready t play. Teams must have 9 players t start game NO exceptins. Teams may finish with 8 players (ut will be taken fr vacant spt in lineup). Reprting Scres It will be the winning teams respnsibility t reprt the scre t the Turnament Directr within 15 minutes f game cmpletin. Tie Games Pl play games can result in a tie. Bracket/seeded games will be reslved by the use f a Mdified Califrnia Tie-Breaker: Every half inning fllwing the 6 th inning will start with bases laded and tw uts.
