INTRO First, welcome and THANK YOU for your interest in our program! We are entering our 5th season and incredibly proud to offer the most affordable and premier All-Star Cheer Program in South Jersey. Your child is not just another number they are FAMILY!! Our EXTREME (Full Year) program, which includes all Mini, Youth, Junior and Senior teams, starts May 2017 and runs through May 2018. Practice will be 2 days a week, and will possibly increase to 3 days a week starting in September. All teams will attend a total of 8-10 competitions and two of those will be required overnights. Our Velocity Training Camp is a 2 day intensive skill building and team bonding camp and will be held at the gym in the summer. Team choreography will be held in the summer as well and is extremely important and MANDATORY! Our TINY Program includes the Tiny Team which begins in May 2017 and Teeny Tiny Team begins September 2017. Practices will be one hour; Tiny will practice 2 days per week and Teeny 1 day per week. The Tiny team will attend 4 competitions and the Teeny Tiny team will perform at the Comp Season Showcase and attend one Competition. We live to compete! We train heavily from May-December and start competing in January! Training consists of weekly tumbling included in team practices and tuition. There will be extra options for your child to progress such as additional tumbling classes, stretch classes etc., if they need extra assistance. Each child is required to purchase the items necessary to compete such as their uniform, sneakers and makeup, etc. These items will be theirs to keep; they are not rentals and can be used multiple years in a row unless new uniforms are being ordered that season. There is a possibility some used items can be purchased or swapped at a discounted price. This packet should help to provide you with all of the information you need to make the perfect All-Star Cheer choice for your cheerleader but should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Your cheerleader will be given a number so please take note. Their team will be announced by their number (not name) on our Website and Facebook page on May 20th by 12:00pm. You will receive an email as well confirming the team with practice times/days and what is due at the first practice. The skills listed below are used as a guide regarding the levels, some exceptions can be made as other skills such as basing, flying, jumps, etc., are also taken into consideration to form the most well rounded, cohesive and successful teams. All payments can be made via cash, check payable to Cheer Force Elite or credit card (a 3% processing fee will be added). The Booster Club is a parent run organization that schedules and organizes fundraising throughout the season to help offset the costs of things such as uniforms and competition fees. It is VERY possible to have the whole season paid for with just fundraising. Fundraising cannot be used towards monthly tuition. 1. All parents must hand in their debit or credit card information which will be used for late tuition payments and/or Quitters Fee ONLY. 2. QUITTERS FEE: If your child quits after choreography is complete your card will be charged $275 to fix the choreography in the routine. 3. If tuition payments are not received by the 5 th of the month the credit card on file will be charged along with a late fee of $20 4. If the card does not go through the cheerleader will be pulled from practice and tumbling until balance is paid. 5. Returned checks will be assessed a $35.00 fee. 6. There will be NO REFUNDS to anyone who quits a team or is asked to leave the program. This includes ALL monthly fees and any monies paid in addition to any credit left on their account and Booster Club account funds will be forfeited.
PROGRAM RULES AND INFORMATION Please remember that this is a team sport and there are no assigned or promised spots. The routine, stunts, positions, teams etc., are subject to change at any time. Any negative discussion about other teams within the organization will not be tolerated. Everyone here is a family and should lift each other up as such! Sportsmanship is expected of every cheerleader and parent at all times especially while we are at the gym or competitions. Negative posts about Cheer Force, another program, or another child in our program will not be tolerated. If you need to discuss any concerns with owners Devon Bobe and/or Nick Schultz, please schedule an appointment around practices. Issues/concerns will not be discussed during practice or competitions. Disrespect to a coach or another cheerleader will not be tolerated. ATTENDANCE POLICY All-star cheerleading is a team effort, we expect for each cheerleader to dedicate 100% to their team. That means ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY and when someone is missing the whole team suffers. If you need to schedule doctor s appointments please do so around practice. Excused absences include a death in the family, religious obligations, mandatory school function (Dances, Sports Tryouts, Games are not excused), or contagious sickness with doctor s note and must be discussed with your coach. If you are going to be absent, every attempt must be made to find a fill-in. You are allowed 5 unexcused practices between May-August and 3 between September-April. Please schedule your vacations around our gym closings! Tuition will not be prorated for gym closures. TEAM MOMS AND COMMUNICATION Each team will have a head coach and a team mom. Team moms will be responsible for attendance, competition communications etc. If you are interested in being a team mom please let us know. Majority of communication is done via mass texts and our Team App. USE OF LOGO & APPAREL Cheer Force Elite logos and names are NOT to be duplicated or used for your own apparel use. Anyone who attempts to sell, make, or use our gym name, colors with team names will be in violation of our policy.
VIDEO/PHOTO CONSENT I/We, hereby grant permission to Cheer Force Elite, LLC representatives, to take and use: photographs, videos and/or digital images of my child, for use in printed publications or materials, electronic publications, or Web Sites affiliated or pertaining to Cheer Force Elite All Star Cheer & Tumble. All negatives, prints, video, digital productions shall be the property of Cheer Force Elite, LLC.
