We, thereby invite you to participate in this event. General Information: REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR THE MINICESTO 2010-1 st June/2010 DATE AND PLACE OF THE EVENT: - The tournament will be held from 9 th to 14 th of July/2010 (Friday to Wednesday), in Funchal City, Madeira Island (Portugal). Prevision: Teams arrival after the lunch on 9 th of July and departure after breakfast on 14 th of July. ENTOURAGE: - The entourage contains 10 people (8 players, 1 coach and 1 manager). CATEGORIES: Mini 10: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004; Mini 12: 1998 e 1999. ACCOMPANIES: - In case of having accompanies (parents/family), we have the following alternatives: 1) We will give every information about accommodation prices, transportation, food (restaurants) and others. The expenditure will be of each person s responsability. 2) However by paying 200 per person they are entitled to: a) Accommodation with the teams, in a school; b) Meals, together with the teams Breakfast; Lunch and Dinner; c) Land transportation, only on Madeira Island; d) Access to the same Social Activities as the teams. FOOD: - The food costs concerning the teams will be ensured by the organization from the Dinner on the 09 th of July to the Breakfast on the 14 th of July. The meals will take place in the school of the event.
ACCOMODATION: - As far as teams accommodation costs are concerned, they will be ensured by the organization. The teams will be accommodated in a school (in the surroundings of the place where the games will take place). MEANS OF TRANSPORT: - The organization will ensure all means of transport only to the entourage from the moment they arrive at the airport. However, each team is responsible for transportation until their arrival at the airport. PARTICIPATION PRICES: - 980 - Price for each team (composed by 10 members); - 125 - Price for each extra member (if more than the mentioned 10 members, up to 4 athletes, plus one coach and a manager up to a maximum of 16 people per team: 12 athletes, 2 coaches e 2 managers); - 200 - Price for each accompany (parents/family, including children children from 0 to 2 years old don t have to pay and children from 2 to 5 years old will only pay 50%) THE PRICE INCLUDES: - Accomodation - Land transport - Social programme - Playful activities - Food: - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner INFORMATION: - Maximum number of outside applications: 12 teams from the mainland, Azores or Porto Santo e 2 foreign teams Total =14; - Applications will be accepted by order of arrival at the ABM office; - After being selected, each team must confirm their participation and make a 350 deposit, which will not be returned in case of withdrawal. If this deposit isn t made until the 30 th June 2010, the application will be canceled and the next one in the waiting list will be accepted. - After ABM s approval, the accompanies must confirm their participation by making a 90 deposit, which will not be returned in case of withdrawal. If this deposit isn t made until the 30 th June 2010, the application will be canceled.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES (AFTERNOON): - 10 th July: Opening Ceremony and Peddy-Paper in Funchal; - 11 th July: Sightseeing drive: Departure from Funchal Santana (Parque Temático) Return to Funchal; -12 th Julho: Lido/Ponta Gorda -13 th Julho: Aquaparque. OBSERVATION: THE ACTIVITIES HAVE YET TO BE CONFIRMED. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AFTER DINNER (some prepared by the participants): - 09 th July: Arrival of the teams/ Cinema; -10 th July: barrier drive; -11 th July: Orientation activity; -12 th July: Disco night (Maximum: midnight); -13 th July: GALA: Prizes for Minicesto/2010 and theatre play, song or dance, dança, performed by the teams. The performances must be related to Minicesto/2010. Nota 1) The social activities after dinner on the 9 th, 10 th, 11 th e 12 th are compulsory only for the participants who are accommodated in schools. Nota 2) Only the activities of the 13 th, the Gala, is compulsory for all teams which participate in Minicesto/2010 Nota 3) The Gala is open to everyone Nota 4) The accompanies in the social programme are invited to present, on the 13 th July, a public performance as explained for the teams. The main goal is to promote interaction between all accompanies throughout the event.
