Oxygen Generator Systems Descrition The Pneumatech MGS modular Oxylant system shall rovide medical quality oxygen into the hosital ieline system, delivered at a ressure of 400 kpa (4 bar) gauge. The system shall use Atlas Coco comressors, dryer and filters, galvanised steel air receiver, PSA oxygen generator and steel oxygen receiver. The generator shall include a grahic LCD controller and oxygen sensor/analyser. Oeration All comonents shall be self-controlled, no central controller is required. The comressor shall run to maintain ressure in the air receiver with a tyical set ressure of 700 kpa (7 bar) gauge. The generator shall be run in a way to maintain ressure in the oxygen receiver at 400 kpa (4 bar) gauge, or u to a maximum ressure of 500 kpa (5 bar) gauge with an oxygen urity of 93%. The controller shall rovide functionality to easily adjust the oxygen urity level u to 95%. In cases using dual indeendent roduction lines (according to ISO 10083) the system will work with the following logic: One generation line shall be determined as duty and the other shall in turn be set u as a back-u. It is recommended to switch between the lines once a week to ensure each generator is run. The system shall be ressure controlled. Each line has a different set ressure. The duty line has a start ressure of 430 kpa (4.3 bar) gauge and the reserve line at a fixed ressure of 400 kpa (4 bar) gauge. If the duty line is shut-down or fails the main line ressure will fall. When the reserve set ressure is reached (400 kpa, 4 bar) the reserve line will come on-line to maintain working line ressure. Pressure shall be measured in the oxygen buffer tank. When the ressure deletes it reaches the start set oint and the generator starts roducing oxygen. When the ressure sto set-oint is reached the generator shall go in stand-by mode. The oxygen generator shall automatically sto if the oxygen level falls below the set urity level (e.g. >92% as standard). In this case the reserve line will come on-line due to the ressure falling to 400 kpa (4 bar) gauge. The comressors shall run on their own ressure band and shall oerate indeendently to the oxygen generators. As soon as the ressure in the tank reaches it s set oint (e.g. 700 kpa, 7 bar) the comressor shall go into unload/sto mode. Oxygen Generator The oxylant generator shall incororate ressure swing absortion (PSA) technology and sulied as a lug and lay comonent for simle installation on site, including oxygen monitoring, service indications and relevant alarms. Non return valves shall be included to avoid back flow from the outlet of the generator. The vessels shall include chemically roduced zeolite to adsorb secific tyes of molecules, such as water vaour or nitrogen. The oxylant generator shall include an oxygen sensor and analyser for continuous, online measurement of oxygen urity and shall be rovided with a calibration reort delivered with every unit. The sensor shall be insulated by solenoid valves during standstill to rovide longer sensor lifetime. An inlet ressure regulator shall be included to reduce the inlet ressure to a maximum working ressure of 650 kpa (6.5 bar ) gauge. The oxygen urity roduced shall be between 90-95% with a comressed air inlet quality in accordance with ISO 8573-1 clause 1-4-1 and an air outlet quality in accordance with ISO 8573-1 clause 1-2-1. Control System The oxylant T4 control system shall rovide an intelligent human machine interface including a real-time clock for recording oerational arameters in the event log. The central control system shall include a BMS connection for a general fault condition. In the case of generator failure a general alarm fault shall be triggered at 91% (adjustable). If the oxygen quality falls lower than 90% the generator shall sto and the reserve generator will start roduction of oxygen due to deletion of line ressure to 400 kpa (4 bar) gauge. Page 1

Oxygen vessel of steel construction and aroved according to Fluid Grou 1 PSA oxygen modules are able to roduce oxygen comliant with the United States Pharmacoeia (USP) monograh for Oxygen 93 or the Euroean Pharmacoeia (EurPh) mono grah for Oxygen 93. Both standards were created exressly to ermit the use of PSA roduced oxygen. Filling Ram for on site cylinder filling consisting of a high ressure bar with individual isolation valves at each cylinder connection. The cylinders shall be rotected from over ressurising by a safety ressure relief valve and shall include a ressure gauge. The filling ram shall be tested u to 30,000 kpa (300 bar) gauge and shall be sulied comlete with test certificate (cylinders are NOT included). Purge Control. An additional urge line to ensure that only the aroriate level of oxygen quality is sulied to the hosital distribution ieline. Dew Point and Flow Monitoring. The dryer shall be able to incororate a dew oint sensor with an accuracy of ±10C in the range -20 to -800C atmosheric dew oint and 4-20mA analogue outut. The PDP sensor shall ensure the air to the generator inlet is suitable in order to safeguard the generator from high moisture content. Classification Oxylant system is designed to ISO10083 standards and air quality to the Euroean Pharmacooeia monograh.
