Page 2 Roger Watson Owner We are nearing the end of our 1 st phase of our improvement plan at Wildwood Green! We hope you are enjoying the results of these improvements and we certainly appreciate all the input from the members, especially the advisory board. We are currently formulating a newlist of items to continue to improve the course, facility and service. In order toget some newideas we are forming a more structured seven member advisory board. If you are interested in becoming a member of the advisory board, please submit your name in writing to Jeff Engelhaupt, before September 1, 2016. The term of each advisory board member is one year. However, a member can serve up to three consecutive terms. We thank all the current board members for their service. We could not have accomplished these recent improvements without their support. We would like to point out a few issues that we can improve on. We are currently averaging over $4,000 LOSS OF REVENUE WEEKLY due to no shows on the tee sheet. You can help by calling in to cancel times or adjust the number of players. We would like to spend this money on improvements! Pace of play is an issue when twosomes or threesomes are playing among foursomes and the course is full with golfers. PLAY READY GOLF! Wemakeeveryeffortto keepyourduesaslowaspossible, howeverwecan notcontrol fixedcostswhichcontinuetogoup. Wewantto continue improving all services, facilities and the course. As you can see from the recent improvements the owners have spent over $272,000. We have to make a small approximate 3% dues increase, effective August 1, 2016. However, you can prepay for 2017 and save 10% off dues, cart and range club, plus other free and discounts, if you pay in August. Thank you for your support! We hope you are proud of Wildwood Green and will recommend your friends, neighbors and others to visit and join the club. Would you like to pay no dues for a year and reduced dues for another year? Sponsor four new members! That is all it takes! Thank you for beingamember!iwant toaddabigthank youto theentireexcellentstaffattheclub.wearefortunate tohavethemhere!

Page 3 Rick Durham Superintendent 2016 has gotten off to a good start as it pertains to the weather. We are now starting to see the standard July seasonal heat and humidity. Now that summer weather has arrived there are several agronomic practices that we will implement over the next few months to aid in the success of Wildwood Green. Hand syringing of greens will be one of the most important. Simply syringing a green can lower the canopy by 10 degrees or more. Please be aware that you may encounter one of our maintenance team members hand syringing frequently this summer. A simple wave and acknowledgement from the team members assures that we are all paying attention of approaching golf shots. The course will be closed on Monday, August 22 nd due to a small aerification. We will be doing a small aerification on all of the greens. This helps the roots grow deeper providing a healthier plant. This aerification willnotbeverydisruptive whichmeansthegreenswillhealfast. New fans on #3 and #9 will be turned on during hot humid days. The fans can also cool and circulate air which benefits the cool season bentgrass. All bermuda grass is off to a healthy start. We will be consistently aerifying high traffic areas over the next few months along with a fertility program that will promote healthy strong turf. Thank you for all your comments and as always I can be reached via e-mail at rdurham@wildwoodgreen.com.
