WRITING RULES - The word ع ل ى in line 3: is written in the standard Arabic without the small Alif on the top of أ ل ف م ق ص ور ة (ى) as in the qur'aanic script 4 n?tã, but in both cases we read it (3alaa) - The word إ ل ى in line 4: is written in the standard Arabic without the small Alif on the top of أ ل ف م ق ص ور ة (ى) as in the qur'aanic script 4 n<î), but in both cases we read it ('ilaa) Why the Alif in إ ل ى and ع ل ى is written in the form of Yaa'? The reason is that, this Alif is originally a Yaa'. - In line 6: we attached the preposition at the beginning of the ب اء word.ال ق ل م Notice that when attaching (ب ا ل ق ل م ) ه م ز ة ال و ص ل we kept ب اء - In line 9: we attached the preposition ك اف at the beginning of the word (ك ا لا ن ث ى) ه م ز ة ال و ص ل we also kept ك اف Notice that when attaching.الا ن ث ى When we attach the prepositions ب اء ك اف to a noun starting with ال we keep ه م ز ة ال و ص ل - But in line 7: when we attached the preposition at the beginning of the لام word.الش م س Notice that when attaching لام we dropped ه م ز ة ال و ص ل in the writing (ل لش م س ) and same for the word - In line 8: we attached the preposition (ل ل ق م ر (.االله at the beginning of the word لام Notice that we dropped ه م ز ة ال و ص ل in the writing ل ل ه or! In line 6 بال ق ل م The word ال ق ل م is a noun which came after the preposition ح ر ف ج ر,(ب اء ) so it is and اس م م ج ر ور falls under the case اس م م ج ر ور and should have a kasrah م ج ر ور at the end. We say: ع ل م: ف ع ل م اض (ال ف اع ل ض م ير م س ت ت ر ( pronoun) is a hidden ال ف اع لdoer (The ع ل م ب اء : ال ق ل م : ح ر ف ج ر اس م م ج ر و ر و ع لام ة ج ر ه ال ك س ر ة. Notice the Kasrah at the end of all words, coming after prepositions in page 40. م ض اف إ ل ي ه Position 2 1- The noun that shows the possessor (comes after of) Ex. ك ت اب م ح م د (the book of Muhammad) (linguistically it means م ض اف إ ل ي ه is the possessor of the book, it is م ح م د - the word that, another is added to it) - Usually the possession is formed of a noun without,ال followed by a definite noun: Proper noun or a word with.ال (in few cases we can see the م ض اف إ ل ي ه indefinite noun, ex. ك ت اب و ل د book of a boy) - The word that comes before م ض اف إ ل ي ه cannot have Tanween ك ت اب not.ك ت اب - Notice that we translate it (The book of Muhammad) because the first noun became definite after being added to a definite.
