Welcome Welcome to the 2018 season. About Us The netball club operates under the banner of the Adelaide Lutheran Sporting Sport (ALSC). ALSC has existed in various forms since the late 1960 s when the Adelaide Lutheran Football Club was established. In the years following, cricket and netball clubs were founded. The Adelaide Lutheran Sports Club currently fields 3 football teams, 3 cricket teams and 16 netball teams. Our football teams play in the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL), with the A Grade playing in Division 6 in 2018. Our cricket teams play in the Churches and Community Cricket Association over the summer months. ALSC introduced junior football and Auskick in 2017, and in 2018, will be entering a women s football team in the SAWFL. The Adelaide Lutheran Club was established in 2006, with 4 teams entered in the South Australian United Church Association (SAUCNA). We have grown to 16 teams, and we are looking to field the same in 2018. We play and train at the netball courts at the corner of South Tce & Anzac Highway. The clubrooms are across the road in the South Parklands.

Grading Please pay special attention to the grading details, as the structure has changed for 2018. Grading will take place at Priceline Stadium (and not our regular SAUCNA courts). We have reserved courts 11, 12, 13 and 14 for all 4 weeks of grading. Grading will run in 2 components. 1. Court time for Nominated Grades on 15th & 22nd Feb 2018 (Staggered start times, refer table 1 below) 2. Division Squads on 1st & 8th March 2018 6pm - 8pm
Teams will be announced on 15 March 2018 at the Cathedral Hotel from 6:30pm. Nominated Grades The grade you nominate on your player registration form corresponds with your nominated grade/timeslot for the first 2 weeks of grading. It is your responsibility to put the effort in by attending all grading sessions to ensure ALSC sees your potential and skills on court. Table 1 Time Grade - Court # Grade - Court # 6:00pm - 7:00pm A4 - B1 courts 11/12 B5 - B7 courts 13/14 7:00pm - 8:00pm A1 - A3 courts 11/12 B2 - B4 courts 13/14 Division Squads The Division Squads will be announced by email on Sunday 25 Feb 2018. These sessions are to further assess your skills and will include a variety of fitness, drills and court time. These 2 weeks will also be your opportunity to speak to graders if you are concerned about your division placement. In the event of extreme weather (heat, rain), grading will continue but will be adjusted accordingly. Please contact Jayelen Reed on 0409 690 135 or Libie Gray on 0401 519 040 prior to 12pm on Wednesday s if unable to attend. Training Training is on Thursday nights. Training times vary depending on grade/coach, but generally training takes place from 6 8.30pm. Fees $50 non-refundable nomination due by 15 Feb 2018. If this has not been paid by the due date, you will forfeit your playing spot. $100 affiliation fee and player insurance due by 7 April (first game). If we haven t received your payment by the due date (or arrangements have not been made) you may not be able to take the court. Due to the court upgrade, SAUCNA are putting their fees up to cover the addition upkeep costs. To ensure we remain viable, we unfortunately need to pass on these costs to our players.
