We shipped out boxes with eye wash, chapstick, and prepackaged snacks to the volunteers helping fight the fires. We also raised $767 cash, $500 in Visa cards, $170 in Tractor Supply cards, and a $10 Chipotle card. We are sending the money to the Canadian Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. in Hemphill County, and the gift cards will be sent to the District 1 Extension office for distribution to fire victims. Thank you to all who helped raise money and gathered donations. From the District 1 Extension Office- Thank you for supporting the victims of the Panhandle Wildfires.
