ELECTRONIC AIRLOCK MANAGEMENT SkySas range UniSas range CompacSas range An electronic management concept to simplify the onsite implementation of an airlock Gunnebo, as the leading manufacturer of safety airlocks, has developed EasySas as a new concept in electronic airlock management. The EasySas concept is based on electronic management that is both standard and modular in design. Its purpose is to simplify implementation of an airlock on site. Where safety concepts and requirements are concerned, this all-in-one management offers a wide choice of configurations. It allows basic management of up to 5 doors, filtering passages from control consoles, controlling access from keyboards, badge or biometric readers, management of various detection systems (presence, uniqueness and metallic objects), and more. Advantages 1. All-in-one management: centralized and modular. 2. Easy to customize and upgrade. 3. Calculating power of the microcontroller. 4. Simplified activation and maintenance. 5. Native IP. 6. Adjustable alarm contacts.
Architecture The EasySas concept is designed for basic control of up to 5 doors (e.g. double airlock with entry and exit airlock, plus an emergency door). Closed-loop control cabinet with options 1 6 2 EMERGENCY DOOR 3 SAS 1: EXIT SAS 2: ENTRY 5 It is made up 2 distinct parts The management cabinet integrating the GSC management card. This communicates by a single cable connected to each of the doors in series. The airlock s doors are equipped with a GDC door card. This card creates an interface with all of the door s standard equipment. 4 Cabinet equipment 1. An isolation switch for turning cabinet voltage on/off. 2. A 150W backup power supply. 3. A GSC management card. 4. Backup batteries. 5. One or two 8E/S extension cards (optional). 6. Arrester module (optional). ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES Mains voltage Mains frequency Power Backup batteries Operating voltage Operating temperature Relative humidity 110 230 Vac 50 60 Hz 150 W 6.5 Ah 24 Vdc 12 Vdc From 20 C to +70 C < 90% without condensation
ELECTRONIC AIRLOCK MANAGEMENT Operation A safety airlock is mutually used by 3 distinct applications Public access Employee access Moving objects and securities EasySas integrates various standard functionalities that respond to the latest applications. They can be selected using EasyTool configuration software. Free or filtered passage (with a control console) Automatic mode (free entry and exit) Interior door control mode (opening in free entry for D1 and D2 after authorization, free exit) Exterior door control mode (opening in entry after authorization, free exit) Closed mode (entry forbidden, free exit) Controlled mode Exterior airlock control mode (exterior doors opened by airlock through access control) Interior airlock control mode (interior doors opened by airlock through access control) Identified mode (entry opening in D2 by biometric reader) Controlled and identified mode (entry opening of D1 by access control and D2 by biometric reader) Commands Disconnected mode (door loop control suppressed) Free access mode (unlocking of the 2 doors) Blocking mode (D1 unlocked and D2 blocked in the two passage directions) Household mode (D2 stays unlocked) 1st entry mode (personnel entry procedure) Customization Adapting the program to respond to specific client needs. Interface and/or alarm contacts 9 relay exits are available as standard on the GSC card (3 units of supply data and 6 units of functional data) The number of available exits can be increased to 17 (or 25) by adding one or two optional C8E/SR extension cards. The notification of the physical exits must be configured through EasyTool software. Command inputs 6 entries are available as standard on the GSC card The number of available inputs can be increased to 14 by adding an optional C8E/SR extension card The notification of the physical entries must be configured through EasyTool software Control consoles The control console is the MMI (man-machine interface) indispensable for manually managing and filtering passages. Available in two models, with LED display (CBA model) or digital display with a multilingual drop-down menu (PPS model), the control console provides command, visualization and communication functions (intercom option). EasySas management allows connection of up to 2 PPS and 4 CBA models. The PPS console also offers management of user rights through a hierarchical badge system. Intercom The intercom option can be used in combination with a control console to communicate with a person in the airlock. Synthesized voice messaging This allows prerecorded messages in various languages to be broadcast, such as in the event of an alarm. Emergency procedures Unconditional release of the doors equipped with a failsafe lock by external electrical command (breaking glass, fire alarm signal) Power supply The EasySas cabinet can be used with any mains network that provides power of 110-230 Vac 50-60 Hz. An earthed fault protection device (30 ma) must be incorporated into the fixed installation in keeping with local regulations.
INTENSIVE USE Backup batteries Two 12 V, 6.5 Ah batteries, standard. Other backup battery specifications can be defined as needed. For reference, hinged-door airlocks can operate independently on a 6.5 Ah battery as follows: TYPE OF AIRLOCK NORMAL USE INTENSIVE USE 2-door airlock 6 hours 4 hours 4-door airlock 3 hours 2.5 hours Maintenance tools EasyTool software allows the field technician to validate or modify certain functional parameters A micro SD card can store various files for download to the GDC or GSC cards, the PPS console and the vocal synthesizer, along with any technical documentation In addition to loop control management, the card provides these functions Power supply: 12 Vdc / 24 Vdc; battery charge. Fuse protection Intercom Vocal synthesizer Real-time clock (event log/time slots) Technical data for the GDC door card (Gunnebo Door Controller): Technical data for GSC controller card (Gunnebo SAS Controller): Each door is equipped with a GDC door card. It is designed to centralize connection of all the latest door equipment. The card is connected to the central cabinet by a single cable. Equipment connected by bus Wiegand or Dallas ISO2 log readers (bus readers) 2 RS485 connections (EasySas internal bus: GSC card and external bus monitoring consoles) External equipment The controller card is equipped with 3 RS485 connections (EasySas internal bus: GDC cards and consoles, PC bus, and external bus monitoring) 1 I2C connection (optional C8E/SR card) 1 TCP/IP connection (IP connection) 1 micro SD card reader (firmware backup + vocal synthesizer program and messages) 6 relay inputs and 6 relay outputs (external interface with alarm or access control) 3 alarm relay outputs (power supply) 1 extension port 1 metal detector connection 1 lighting or video surveillance connection MTS touch buttons with visualization Electric lock Presence detection by 1-zone contact mat or IR radar Single-person detection using 2-zone mat or UniRitz II Equipment on the GDC card Door contact position (DMO) Configuration switches Function LEDs (visible without removing the card) Intercom: Micro and Loud Speaker Emergency unlocking command
