Bidding process: All cattle will have a base price placed on them October 19, bids will be accepted at any time but no cattle will be sold prior to 2:00 PM, October 22. The 1 st person to bid claims the animal at the base price and the bidding continues from there. Bid increments on all cattle must be at $100 more than the last bid. After 2 PM bids close and only persons who have placed bids on that animal will be allowed to purchase that animal. If you have submitted a bid by closing time, and you don t get that calf, you will have the opportunity to up your bid or bid on a different one that has not been bid on. Once you have purchased an animal you have the option to opt out on other cattle you have bid on. However, no new bidders will be allowed on claimed lots after 2:00 PM on October 22. All bidders will be issued sale numbers and names will be kept confidential during the bidding process. Phone bids are welcome any time prior to the sale. We reserve the right to accept or reject any bids. No cattle will leave the farm prior to payment being received.
