If you are interested in helping this agency by becoming a volunteer board member, please send a resume cover letter explaining how your personal or professional experience could contribute the operation the APEC not later than Friday December 1, 2017 jwinter@alabamaparentcenter.com or fax it 334-567-9938 so that it may be submitted the board for consideration. 28 th Annual Love Your Heart Run 10 th Annual Crank Your Heart Ride Join A.O.R.T.A., the Exceptional Outreach Organization, Auburn Parks Recreation on Saturday, February 17 for the 28th Annual Love Your Heart Run benefiting individuals with special needs supporting the Annual Therapeutic Summer Camp, Special Olympics of Lee County, Best Buddies of Auburn University other therapeutic programs. Participants may choose from a one-mile fun-walk course or the Love Your Heart 10K (6.2 mile) course. And there is a new twist the Crank Your Heart Ride this year! Only one biking distance will be offered consisting of a 15 mile ride with a new route. All routes begin end at Chewacla State Park. Individuals wishing participate can register online by visiting LoveYourHeartRun.com. Applications can also be picked up at area gyms or the Harris Center in Auburn.
