Was responsible for a turnaround of the Blue Bomber offense that took them from 3-8 to 7-11.

February 2007 to May 2009 Offensive Coordinator, Capital University, Hired by Jim Bickell. Implemented the Triple Shoot Offense in the Ohio Athletic Conference while mentoring the offensive coaching staff of the Crusaders. February 2004 to 2007 President & CEO, Big Season Sports. A multimedia sports conglomerate created to communities of football fans. Big Season Sports reached a target-market through premium pre-season football magazines in regional markets. December 2002 to January 2004 Head Football Coach, Texas State University, Hired by Greg LaFleur; Embarked on a complete regeneration of the Texas State program working on sixteen specific areas ranging from player development to marketing and promotion of a moribund football program that lacked enthusiasm and excitement at every level. The Bobcats were No. 1 in offense in the Southland Conference and No. 7 in the nation in 2003, averaging 443.4 yards per game and 26.2 points per game. Along the way, Texas State s offense set 17 school records. During my tenure, we established all-time records in revenue and attendance all the while improving every aspect of the football program to put Texas State within striking distance of a conference title. Our record was 4-8, as our actual attendance increased to sell out in the last game of the season vs. Sam Houston State. December 1999 to December 2002 Assistant Head Coach, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX. Hired by Mike Leach; Embarked on a dual leadership role of spearheading the Red Raider Special Teams units while also overseeing the development of the program from strategic, marketing and structural standpoints. In each of our first two seasons we broke the single season attendance record at Texas Tech University while our Special Teams Units lead the Big XII in scoring. Our record was 23-14 over a 3 year period with our last season being a breakthrough year of a 9-4 record (with victories over Kansas State, Texas A&M and Texas). Defeated Clemson University in the Mazda-Tangerine Bowl; 55-15. January 1999 to December 1999 Offensive Coordinator, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY. Hired by Dana Dimel; Assumed the leadership role of transforming one of the worst offenses in college football to the best in the Mountain West Conference. Since the introduction of the Triple-Shoot Offense to the marketing strategy at The University of Wyoming the season ticket sales record was set and there was a 17% increase in the average home attendance. Our record was 7-4, and we were the first team in Cowboy history to defeat BYU, Utah and the Air Force Academy in the same season.

January 1995 to January 1999 Head Football Coach, Emporia State University, Emporia, KS. Hired by Bill Quayle; Assumed the duties of turning around a program that was ranked in the bottom 3 rd of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Conference in funding, operating budget and assistant coach s salaries. The school had only had 1 winning season in the MIAA conference prior to 1995. President and Founder of Sting & Shoot Enterprises, a merchant s association in the City of Emporia that serves the purpose of supporting Emporia State football by providing discounts to Sting & Shoot members at over 100 area merchants. PROGRAM ACHIEVEMENTS Our staff came to Emporia with an aggressive approach to recruit exclusively high school players from Kansas and blended them with talent from Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Texas. Attendance and revenue increased significantly over this 4 year period. Records in MIAA, 4-5, 5-4, 5-4, 6-2. Overall records 5-6, 5-6, 7-4 and 9-2. MIAA Conference runners-up. Developed 4 All-Americans, 6 All-Midwest region performers, 52 All- Conference selections, 1 Harlon Hill Award recipient,, 1 Harlon Hill Runner-up, 1 Senior Bowl Participant, 1 Blue-Grey Game participant, the all-time leading rusher in college football history, as well as the all-time leading receiver in MIAA conference history. Implemented an offense that broke nearly every conference and school record and was named the #1 offense in all of college football. ESU s offense was the first in MIAA history to lead the conference in both passing and rushing offense. Defensively, the Hornet s showed steady improvement each season and played extremely well against top-ranked opponents (Defeated 4 top 10 ranked opponents including North Dakota State in the Fargodome). Academically, players were challenged and achieved the highest combined team GPA in Emporia State Football history (2.85) while also placing 72 players on the Athletic Director s Honor Roll. In first year, founded and implemented the Student-athlete development program that began tutorial career services for all athletes at Emporia State. January 1994 to December 1994 Special Teams Coordinator & Tight Ends Coach, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS. Hired by Bill Snyder; Implemented new strategies in punt protection, kickoff return and punt blocking. Our record that season was 9-2 and resulted in an Aloha Bowl appearance on Christmas day.

February 1991 to December 1993 Offensive Coordinator, Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY. Hired by Joe Gardi; Implemented an offensive attack that helped the Flying Dutchmen lead the nation in passing offense (405 yards per game) and break nearly every offensive record in school history while averaging 38.5 points per game. In addition, three quarterbacks each passed for over 500 yards in a single game. Recruited and coached Wayne Chrebet, All-Pro receiver for the New York Jets; Dave Fiore, Right Tackle for the San Francisco 49ers and Demingo Graham, Right Guard for the San Diego Chargers. Records 8-2, 6-4-1 and 8-3. January 1989 to January 1991 Assistant Football Coach, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS. Hired by Bill Snyder. Liaison to the Alumni association responsible for delivering numerous speaking engagements throughout the state of Kansas to Catbackers, coached wide receivers, oversaw administration of quality control program and recruited a four state area. Served under AD Steve Miller. Developed All- Big 8 Conference receiver Michael Smith who went on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs. June 1988 to December 1988 Graduate Assistant Football Coach, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS. Hired by Stan Parrish. Implemented a complete overhaul of the special teams, went from last in the Big 8 to 2 nd in overall special teams play. Coached all units as well as kickers and punters. Developed Mark Porter into an All-Big 8 place-kicker (He kicked a 61 yard field goal versus Nebraska). August 1987 to May 1988 Assistant Football Coach, Barberton High School, Barberton OH. Hired by Don Ault. Coached Wide Receivers in the Wing T Offense, was Head JV coach, special teams coach. Turned around a team that the previous year was 1-9 to a 7-3 finish in our first year.
