Issue 15 Page 7 FVDS Youth Committee Are you enthusiastic, motivated, committed, good at decision making and keen to improve Forth Valley for young people? If so, the new FVDS Young Committee is the place you want to be. FVDS is a local charity offering sporting opportunities for people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities throughout the Forth Valley area, from grassroots right through to world and Paralympic levels. We have a focus of identifying local talent who can form the next generation of athletes. With this in mind, the young committee member will form an important role in enhancing the experience and driving the ethos of the Branch to school age pupils and young adults. The member will also be required to attend all committee meetings of FVDS (usually four or five per year) and to give reports of findings at these meetings. Of course, there is an opportunity to enhance your qualifications through the Saltire Awards and gain experience and shape the future of sport and physical activity in Forth Valley.
