Check out the attached Art work and read about the art and the limited additions. They will be on display at the show and be for sale... Counting Coup is handcrafted by Stephanie Gallegos, a native of Colorado. Stephanie has crafted this pony in the fashion the Native American Crazy Horse painted his pony before battle. They painted their ponies to intimidate their enemies and give their ponies and riders courage and strength. Counting Coup is a limited edition done by Stephanie and each piece is signed and numbered by her. She also features Hail Stone Marks the mount of Chief Joseph. Spirit Stallion is handcrafted by Stephanie. The introduction of the horse to the Native American people gave them a new way of life. The horse became a partner in their life. Each Spirit Stallion is handmade, inlaid with turquoise and signed by the artist. Call for stalls and paid warm-ups. Kathy

MWRHA 1st NRHA Regional Clinic (held on Sunday after the RM show, at 4 Roads Ranch ) Special thank you to Gabe Hutchins, Kole Price, and 4 Roads Ranch for making our 1st clinic a huge success. Thank You very much for having us! It s very rewarding for Kole and I to hear all the great feedback!! Gabe Hutchins "The clinic was terrific.. the sound system worked well (which is usually a problem at these things) Thanks for organizing! " Judy Friedman "Everything was great! Can't thank you and Mike enough for all the hard work you guys put in. I thought the two guys were great and it'll be great to watch them work their horses this weekend at Cloverdale. They really came across as approachable and willing to spend whatever time was needed. Really great choices for clinicians. Let's do it again next year! " Lisa Villagomez "Jodi thank you very much I got a lot out of it. As a trainer I can always learn I'm using this on my performance horses they are like what is going on. It makes training horses fun thanks again " Brian Scoggins " Hi Jodi, Thanks again for being such a great host. Clinic was great. Very educational and Gabe is a great teacher. I am hoping to bring all that to the next show. I would recommend the clinic to anyone who shows. " Molly Tromp "Hi Jodi, I want you to know that I thoroughly enjoyed the clinic. Gabe and Kole were great, and they gave me and Wasabi plenty to work on. Thank you for all your hard work, too. Lunch was awesome!" Deb Kremposky

"This has to be one of the top learning experiences of which I have taken part with my horse. Felt like it was the right number of attendees versus clinicians. Gabe and Kole did a very nice job of making sure to answer questions and even took it a step further and broke down individual problems and helped with those. This is a great opportunity for our members. These are the kind of activities which make it attractive to be a member of MWRHA. The whole weekend was a success in my mind. It is nice to have a one day show, not too many of those around any more. These don't have to be big scale events, they just need to be of quality, which this was. Thank you to all involved for putting the whole weekend together. And that is why I paid my lifetime dues for MWRHA this year. I believe when I look at the horse industry as a whole, this is one of the bright and shining areas." Toni Dunker THANK YOU TO THE MUNOZ FAMILY FOR ALLOWING US TO USE THEIR FACILITY FOR THE CLINIC! Thanks to Dottie Smith for announcing on Clinic day! Thank you to our Sponsors: Pards, Purina, Carlotta Baker Equine Massage, Finish Line, West 20 Saddle Company, Platinum Performance, and Inside Reining. Lunch provided by: Mike Bloom, Nancy Widger, Jodi Summer, the Munoz Family, Carlotta Baker, and Molly Tromp THANK YOU TO ALL FOR MAKING OUR CLINIC SUCH A SUCCESS!

Spotlight: JENNY JUSTIN Home town of Isanti, MN Horses : Trixie, coming 4 year old, mare; Izzy, coming 2 year old, mare; and my first reiner, Mex, coming 15, mare Job: In transition!!! In 2013, I worked as the assistant trainer for Mike Davis Reiners. I had a fantastic time and learned more than I could ever hope for, but am going back to school this spring to get an accounting degree. Hobbies: I like running a lot. I have done several 5k's and 10k's and hope to do a half-marathon and maybe even a full marathon in the coming year. I'd also like to dabble in the triathlons, but I can't swim...so that's a little bit of a hurdle I need to overcome!! Achievements: 2005 NCRHA Rookie Saddle Circuit Champion; 2005 NRHA Rookie of the Year - tie for 5th; 2007 NCRHA Spookfest futurity Non Pro, Int Non Pro, and Ltd Non Pro champion. 2013 MWRHA Limited Open Year End - 4th My favorite show of 2013 was the Raul Munoz Memorial Show. I don't think I have ever had so much fun at a horse show! The Munoz family was such a great host and atmosphere was relaxed, fun and competitive all at the same time! In 2014, I would like to show my mare Trixie in some of the derbies like Gordyville and maybe the NRHA Derby. My advice for people getting into the sport is to find a good trainer that will work with you on your goals and help you to create a plan for your reining experience. Then, hang on for the ride! Remember, if it were easy, everyone would do it. Don't let hiccups get you down. I think the best way to get new people involved in the sport is to put them on a reiner and let them get bit by the bug!! One of the most inspirational moments I had was showing a horse this summer at the Illinois State Fair. I showed the horse in the first limited open class and didn't do well at all. I believe our score was in the ballpark of a 66. I was very disappointed in myself and thought I should have done a much better job. I looked at my score card and found where my penalties were. The following day I showed him again in the limited open and really focused on the parts I had problems with and ended up marking a 72 1/2!! That really showed me that one bad ride doesn't necessarily mean anything and knowing where your mistakes were is very important too! WE ALSO HEARD, Jenny is a Champion mechanical bull rider!
