Welcome to the 2014-15 Cricket Season! It s set to be another fun and eventful season both on and off the field for cricket across Australia. The main purpose of the MyCricket system is to assist Australian clubs and associations to manage their fixtures, match results, scorecards and ladders, whilst offering cricket administrators a range of different features and functionality to assist in the day-to-day running of their club or association. The MyCricket Team Online Registration & Payments Service MyCricket provides clubs and associations with a free Online Registration & Payments system. This was used by over 30,000 participants last season. How Does It Work? 1 SETUP YOUR CLUB REGISTRATION TYPES & FORMS 2 PARTICIPANTS REGISTER ONLINE 3 PARTICIPANTS DETAILS ARE UPDATED IN MYCRICKET 4 PAYMENTS ARE DEPOSITED INTO CLUB ACCOUNT (IF SETUP) BENEFITS INCLUDE There is a 4% (incl. GST) service fee per transaction ffthe setup of Online Registration system is FREE. ffcollect payments as part of the Online Registration is optional. ffpayments are secure & deposited into your clubs nominated bank account. ffeases volunteer workload and the manual registration, collection of paperwork and payments. ffreporting tools help you manage your online registrations and reconcile payments. ffmanage your player/member database and their details from within MyCricket. ffhelps use Email & SMS communication tools.
SCORER Scorer App The Scorer App is set to revolutionise club cricket in Australia by using a hand held device to score your matches. Available on ipad, iphone & Android tablets/phones, the MyCricket Scorer App has been designed to help any administrator score matches live and upload scorecards directly into MyCricket. Friends and supporters can follow matches LIVE on MyCricket websites and apps, whether that be an Under 12 junior match in remote Queensland, or a Women s Grade match in Perth. INTERNET CONNECTION ffan internet connection is required to download the match you want to score to your device. This includes basic match information and team selections. fffor live scores to appear on MyCricket websites, there must be a connection to the internet at the ground whilst scoring. ffthe app can still be used without an internet connection (eg. sync the match/players scores after the game), but the match must be downloaded before the match commences. Club Websites MyCricket offers a FREE website with a modern layout for your club. You don t need to be an IT wiz to use the website, with the template and structure of the website already setup. Messages can be directly targeted to specific groups through your club/association member database (eg. senior players, life members etc.). Set it up as Amateur Sports Team (for clubs) or Sports League (for associations). ffpost IDEAS: team lists, links to live scores, a recap of a match (link to the MyCricket scorecard), news items, sponsor recognition, milestones/life members, player of the week, social events/functions, photo albums, rep players, award winners, pre-season training. Insurance To ensure risk is minimised, make sure all players (and club members) are registered on MyCricket prior to the commencement of the 2014-15 cricket season.
