February 1, 2014 Dear Directors: On behalf of The Brownsburg Bands and Hendricks Regional Health I would like to welcome you to the Brownsburg Winter Guard Invitational! Enclosed you will find the performance schedule, maps and other important information. Also, Brownsburg High School Production Team will be providing videos of your guard s performance for a fee of $15.00. Those who did not order at the beginning the winter guard season may do so at registration. Please make checks payable to BBOP. The judges have requested that you listen to your recordings before attending the critique session. Critique will be available for the Cadet/Reg. A/AA guards with the sixth judge. Class A and Open will have a critique available this week after the completion of the competition. The critique will be held in the swimming pool classroom located west of the gym. Critique will run per IHSCGA rules and regulations. Brownsburg High School Winter Guard Invitational Saturday, February 22, 2014 Sponsored by: Hendricks Regional Health Contest Procedures: The contest will be ran in accordance to the IHSCGA rules and regulations. Please consider others when planning schedules. Check-in: Directors should check-in upon arrival. The check-in area will be located on the east side of the building at door #1. (see map) Parking: will be located at the southwest lot of the school for all busses. Busses will enter the lot off of Sycamore Street. (see map) There will be signs and parents to guide you to the correct entrance. All drivers will enter the building at door #9. (see map) Props/tarp vehicles: will park in the North and Northeast parking areas. All props/tarps will unload at door #16 and load at door #15. (see map) There will be signs and parents to guide you to the correct entrance. Once your group is done performing and loaded, all vehicles will move to the south/southwest lot of the high school. Drivers will enter at door #9. (See Map) Chaperone/Equipment Personnel: All chaperones, drivers or equipment personnel will check in at door #1 and will follow IHSCGA rules and regulations in regards to passes/tickets. Spectator Parking: Available in the northwest lot (off of Bulldog Boulevard). Enter the gym at door #14. (See map) Handicap parking will be available in front of the senior academy by door #12 and by Door #14. Homerooms: Homerooms will be assigned to each guard. Rooms will need to be vacated an hour after your performance. All make-up, hair spray etc should be done in restrooms only. Restroom Facilities: Facilities will be located throughout the building on the main floor. Medical needs: If you have an emergency please find a host to assist you.

Warm-up Areas: Warm-up areas will be located in the wrestling gym located in the middle of the school building off of Hallway D. Each group will be given a physical warm-up (equipment check), equipment time and equipment with music warm-up areas. Please make sure your group is out of the warm-up area by the end of your scheduled time. Gym Entrance and Exit: Guards will enter the gym from the southwest entrance and exit thru the southeast exit. Halfway line will run north/south. (see map) You may use the East hallway to gather equipment, refold tarp before exiting out door #15 (see map) Seating: Spectator seating will be located on the north side of the stadium. Performer seating will be in the upper south side of the gym. Concessions: Concessions will be available in the Northeast and Senior Academy outside of the gym on the main floor. Seating will be available in the Senior Academy located northwest of the gymnasium. (See map) Admission: $6.00 Judge Recordings/Sheets: All judge s recordings will be available on Competition Suite after your performance. All sheets and recaps will be available after awards are presented in the hospitality room. Awards: Awards will be presented with a retreat following Regional A, AA, Cadet, Festival and again after Open Class. Have your representatives meet at the southwest entrance to the gym for the awards ceremony. Awards will be presented according to IHSCGA rules and regulations. Hospitality: The hospitality room will be located in the senior academy LGI room located northwest of the gymnasium. (see map) Only staff and bus drivers are permitted in this area. Critique: Critique will begin at the conclusion of the contest in the swimming pool classroom located west of the gym. (See map) All IHSCGA rules and regulations will be followed during critique. Cadet, Reg. A and AA will start critique following the Cadet awards Ceremony and will operate on an 8 minute interval. A and Open will have critique in the same location after the completion of the competition. Critique will Follow all IHSCGA rules and regulations.
