REGISTER & LOGIN TIGC WEBSITE -- REGISTER & LOG IN To start using the website you must first register and give yourself a user ID and a password. This registration process is to be done only once! Thereafter you will use your ID and password to login. To register or to login - open the website at www.tahoeinclinegolfclub.org. Click on Member Login as shown. The next window to open will allow you to enter your Username & Password or your registration information.
If this is the first time you are using the website, you must Register. Enter you GHIN # or your name and click on Registration: Existing Members. REGISTER ONLY ONCE! Note: Your screens may not look exactly like those pictured here, but will be very close. Changes in appearance occur as the website is updated by Golf Fusion. Registration requires that you input your personal information. Input the address that you receive your mail. Include both local and away phone numbers. Input the division you would to participate in. You are able to make changes to your information at any time. Note: Once you've registered and input your primary division any changes to your division will need to be made by the membership chairman or the webmaster. Email or phone them to make the change.
The next window that opens after registering asks for optional Member Profile information. Enter what you like and click Submit. Below that is Favorite Golf Story. DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING HERE. LOGOUT when you're done. The next section deals with using the website. Keep reading.
HOME PAGE - MENUS & BUTTONS Now that you have Registered you can Login normally from the home page. Click on Member Login or any Log In button you see. Enter your User ID and Password then press Enter or click on Log In. The next page to open is the club's Home Page. MENUS Under the Golf Course Photos you will see "Home", "Club Information", "Tournaments" and "Post Scores/Stats". These are the menus. Point to them and a box drops down that contains various sub-menus. Point to the sub-menu that you want and click for information about that topic. "Home" Home Page - brings you back to the member home page (see above screen shot). Golf Links - you can select a link to popular golf websites such as NCGA "Club Information" About Us - Information about TIGC. Also notice the fly-out "Club Rules" Club Rules - Specific rules for our club members such as "handicap flag policy" Club Roster - A roster of TIGC members and contact information Event Calendar - A calendar view of the TIGC tee times, tournaments and social events. Update Member Info - Allows you to change your personal and contact information Newsletter - Displays the club Newsletter Board Members - Lists the Board Members and contact information Scorecards - An image of our scorecard
"Tournaments" Up Coming Tournaments - A complete list of TIGC tee times, tournaments and social events Tournament Results - Currently not used My Results - Your Index history can be viewed here "Post Scores/Stats" Post Scores/Stats - Post your scores here. Fill in the information asked for in the left column. All other information is for you to decide if you want to keep the stats. Review Scores/Stats - Your scoring history if you post on the website. Index Lookup - Takes you to the GHIN website and displays your index and scoring history. View the Event Calendar. You can sign up for an event using the Events Calendar. Sign up for an event. This takes you to the table view Sign up for a TIGC club tee time. This takes you to the table view Sign up for a non-club tee time using www.golfincline.com Send us an email message The following banner allows you to view about a weeks worth of upcoming events. Click on the one you want to sign up. The following banner allows you to select various club information sections of the website. Try selecting all of the the above to get familiar with where the links take you.
SIGN UP FOR AN EVENT This is probably the section of most interest. How do you sign up for events. There are two views: the first is a calendar view; the second is a list or table view. To get the calendar view, click on the "Events Calendar" button or select the menu item "Club Information Events Calendar". You will see the following page. Select the month and click on the event you want. This takes you to the sign up page. EVENT CALENDAR VIEW
To get the Table view, click on the "Event Registration" button or select the menu item "Tournaments Upcoming Tournaments". You will see the following page. You will notice that the table view gives you more information about the event such as the size of the field, the number signed up, the date signups can start and the deadline for signups. Click on the event you want. This takes you to the sign up page. EVENT TABLE VIEW
The following screen shots show the typical signup pages for Social events; Tee Times (including midweeks), and Tournaments. SOCIAL SIGNUP PAGE If you are bringing a guest(s), click on "Add Another Participant". This will take you to the guest signup page. If you are NOT bringing a guest you are done!!! Click on "Sign Me or Us Up!". ONLY WHEN YOU ARE DONE!!!!! Enter the First Name and Last Name of your guest(s). We do not need Email or Phone #. When you are done click on "Sign Me or Us Up!". ONLY WHEN YOU ARE DONE!!!!!
TEE TIME SIGNUP PAGE If you are adding another player, fill in their name on the following screen.
TOURNAMENT SIGNUP PAGE If the sign up is for individuals, click on the drop down arrow and enter the correct Fee. Click "Sign Me Up!" Sometimes you are asked to enter your Flight also
The Member Guest Tournament will ask for you to enter your guest. On the next page, select the correct fee. In this example the tournament entry is $375 for the team. Enter your guest's information. If your guest is a club member, select them from the "Playing Partner 1" member drop down list. Select the appropriate Fee. Most likely each of you will be paying $187.50 each. Enter that amount for both of you. Select "Pay Later". This allows your member guest to go to the website, select the tournament and pay by credit card if they choose. If your guest is a NON-Member, Fill in their Name, Ghin#, Index and Contact Information at the bottom of the page. The most likely case will be to select $375 for the entry Fee. This assumes that you are paying for your guest and may or may not be reimbursed by them. Click "Sign Me or Us Up!" ONLY WHEN YOUR ARE DONE!
