THE EAST ANGLIA CHAMPIONSHIP HORSE SHOW IS A QUALIFIER FOR: COMPETITORS MUST MAKE THEMSELVES AWARE OF ANY RULES REGARDING ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE, AS LAID DOWN BY THE SOCIETY TO WHICH THEIR CLASSES ARE AFFILIATED. Competitors DO NOT need to be a member of ANY society to compete at this show. British Miniature Horse Society Star Seeker Classes These classes are open to all miniature horses regardless of registration, and owners/handlers do not need to be members of the BMHS. The winner of each of the Star Seeker classes together with the highest placed un-registered horse in each class will qualify for the Star Seeker Championship at the BMHS Breed Show 2018, provided that the owner and handler join the BMHS within 28 days of qualifying. BMHS registered horses may only compete in open Star Seeker classes if they have never been placed 1st - 5th at the Horse of the Year Show or 1st - 2nd at the Royal International Horse Show. The winner of each of the three Un-registered Star Seeker Championships at the BMHS Breed Show 2018 will, subject to vetting, be eligible for entry onto the BMHS Stud Book, and will qualify for the RIHS 2019 in the appropriate class, subject to meeting BMHS measuring criteria, as stated on the BMHS website - bmhsinfo@aol.com Horses will not be measured on the day but will be measured when attending the BMHS Breed Show, and must be within the maxi limits as stated on the BMHS website as above. BPS This show is a qualifier for the British Palomino Society s 2018 BPS Cream of the Crop Championship. The series and final is open to all; there is no need for membership or registration with the BPS. Qualification - the 2 highest placed Cream Dilutes in the qualifying class go through to the final (please note horses that are true duns are not eligible as they are not a cream dilute). The final will be held at the BPS National Championships at Three Counties Showground July 2019. Qualifiers held after this will go forward to the 2018 final. Email bpscreamofthecrop@gmail.com for further information. EQUIFEST This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the August 2018. The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify. Foals are NOT permitted SSADL Classes For In Hand Classes- Minimum age of handler =9 yrs old STALLIONS- Either for In Hand or Ridden classes, Competitors Must be 16 years of age or over.
