The teams will be timed from the first rider leaving the start box to the last rider crossing the start/finish line. Riders must pass a baton within the starting box and carry the baton throughout their jumping round. If the baton is dropped whilst a rider is competing, they must dismount and retrieve the baton to complete their round. If the baton is dropped within the start box it can be picked up by any member of the team. Each rider is allowed 3 refusals, before they must be rescued by the next team member. The rider being rescued must go back to the start box, hand over the baton to be rescued and the rescue rider must start the course from the refusal fence and go on to complete the course before passing back over the starting line to begin their round. Any poles knocked down will incur time penalties to be added to the teams overall time. The teams will be placed according to time. The rules will be explained fully on the day.
