Pony Club Members Wild Cards The Judges will be handing out wild cards to Pony Club members at their discretion. They wont necessarily be for those that are 1st or 2nd but members who have tried hard with their riding, turnout and sportsmanship. If you get a wild card you will go into a separate Championship at the end of the day. At approx 4.00pm or when all rings have finished PONY CLUB WILD CARD CHAMPIONSHIPS The champion will be awarded the Joan Marshall Pony Performance Memorial Cup. Reserve champion will be awarded The Enfield Chace Hunt Supporters Trophy Followed by LEAH CLARKE EQUINE MASSAGE SUPREME OF SHOW ALL CHAMPIONS AND RESERVES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR SUPREME OF SHOW AT THE END OF THE DAY Evening performance attire permitted Strapped hats only WE WILL ENDEAVOUR TO KEEP TO TIMES BUT THEY ARE A GUIDE FOR COMPETITORS ONLY. QUALIFIERS The following classes are qualifiers for EQUIFEST 2017: 30,32, 19,21,20,29,22 The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be held at the East of England Showground on the 9 13 th August 2017. To qualify you must present your Equifest 2017 qualifying card to be signed by the Judge in the ring. The following are qualifiers for Chiltern And Thames Rider showing Championships 2017 The two highest exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the CT Rider championship 2017 at Herts County Showground, Redbourn in September. Qualification can be passed no further down the line than fifth place. To qualify you must present your CT RIDER qualification card to be signed by the judge in the ring. Classes 2,4,6,9,11,12,14,17,18.19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32, 33,34,35,36 The following are classes for Sunshine Tour 2017 First to fourth qualify, although qualification can be passed down to sixth place. The final is at the ALL ENGLAND JUMPING COURSE, HICKSTEAD on 14-17 th September 2017. The Judge will hand out qualification cards in the ring. It is a championship series for novice, amateur unaffiliated riders, handlers, and horses and ponies. Please see website for full details of qualification and eligibility. Classes 1,3,4,5,9,11,12,13,14,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36 15+ Horse & Pony Events To qualify for the 2016 National Supreme Showing Championship Show on Sunday August 21 st at Equifest, Peterborough, the first, second and third highest placed 15+ horse/pony in the following classes will each qualify. To enter the National Supreme Showing Championship Show the rider/handler and horse/pony must register with 15+ Horse & Pony Events within 14 days of the qualifying show date. General Rules 1. The show is to be run under Pony Club rules 2. The judge s decision is final 3. Correct riding attire must be worn. Boots with a small heel and smooth sole 4. Riding hats conforming to PAS 015:1998 or 2011 with BSI Kite mark VG1 with BSI Kite mark Snell E2001* with the official Snell label and number ASTM-F1163 2004a with the SEI mark AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 or 2006. All must have chin straps fastened and must be worn by every mounted rider (whether Pony Club members or not) 5. Horses and ponies in all ridden classes must be 4 years of age or over 6. No responsibility will be accepted by the organiser or land owner for anything that may happen to competitors, on-lookers, their property, servants or horses in connection with the show. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising from any incident. 7. No cantering or galloping is allowed on the Showground except in allocated rings. 8. Classes may be altered, amalgamated or divided at the organiser s discretion. 9. All dogs must be kept on a short lead on the showground. 10. No whip or stick may be longer than 78cm, misuse will lead to elimination 11. The organisers take no responsibility in the event of classes clashing 12. Objections must be accompanied by 50 fee returnable if the objection is sustained. 13. In the unlikely event of the show being cancelled 75% of the entry fee will be returned on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope. 14. The organisers of this show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instruction of the organisers and all Officials and Stewards. 15. Refunds will not be made without a vet or doctors certificate and will incur a 10 administration fee. 16. NO MUCKING OUT ON THE SHOW GROUND 17.No water is available at the show ground. 18.No Stallions or colts. 19. PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME. DO NOT DISCARD YOUR CIGARETTES. Thank you
