Details Canberra Feis 1. TENTATIVE TIMETABLE: SAT AM/Lunch - 12 years and Under SAT PM- 13 YEARS + 2. CANBERRA FEIS is guided by the rules of AIDA inc and the IRISH DANCING COMMISSION, DUBLIN 3. Competitors must be pupils of Registered Teachers with An Coimisium Le Rinci Gaelacha who are also registered with AIDA A.C.T. inc, and AIDA INC for the year 2013. 4. The adjudicator s decision is final 5. Late entries will only be accepted with the $20.00 late fee and can be accepted on Feis day on the condition that prize allocation will not be altered, and the cap of 150 competitors has not been reached. Entries received after this limit, will be returned. No other refunds will be granted. 6. Dancers may compete in more than one Grade and may compete in more than one Premiership. If a competitor wishes to enter 2 premierships in different grades their entry fee for this section will be reduced to $30 per Premiership. This must be done at the time of entry no discount can be applied at a later date. 7. Dancers must choose their warm up/separate dance on the Entry form. 8. Each Premiership comprises of 2 nominated dances each of which will be separately marked by the adjudicator. Both these marks will be added together for a total figure which the highest aggregate mark will be awarded the winner of the Premiership. 9. There must be more than one (1) competitor for a Section to proceed. If necessary a refund will be processed for competitors who are unable to compete. 10. All Perpetual Trophies awarded must be returned in good condition and returned to the Convenor before the commencement of the Competition 11. Photographs taken at award ceremonies are permitted for all grades. However, photos and videos are allowed for NOVICE AND BEGINNERS SECTIONS ONLY. No other photography or use of video/mobile phone will be allowed for other grades, inside or outside the venue. 12. Makeup and fake tanning will not be permitted for any dancer in the Beginner or Primary Grades up to and including the 11 years and under age group 13. No block, en point, stationary or moving is allwed to be performed for all ages up to and including the 11 years and under age groups. 14. Novice and Beginners may only wear a School costume or simple dancewear skirts and tops for girls, trousers & shirt for boys for dancers up to and including 11 years. 15. The feis organizer will provide a dance-safe surface on the Performance Stage, but cannot accept any liability for injuries sustained whilst dancing. This is a condition of entry either online or posted forms. 16. Competitors must be ready to commence their section at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. It is the competitor s responsibility to be in the marshaling area when called, otherwise they may miss their section. Dancers will not be allowed to dance out of dance sequence. 17. Prizes will be awarded after each Premiership Age Groups, but the competition will continue until results are completed. 18. Prizes will be a range of trophies, medals, soft toys and ribbons.
