It is the ROTAX distributors responsibility to book flights for the qualified drivers of his country (also for drivers qualified from Euro Challenge and Grand Final) and send the offer (with flight dates) for flight tickets to BRP ROTAX for approval. For immediate release Montreal, Canada, September 6, 2005 Release 10-05 Nine Rotax drivers selected for the Red Bull Drivers Search 2005 BRP-Rotax Kart Center Montreal, Canada, September 6, 2005 Sportimage.net The driver development program of the Rotax Max Challenge has made the selection of their nine drivers who will participate in the Red Bull Drivers Search 2005 program held October 3 and 4 on the Formula One circuit of Estoril, Portugal. Nine Rotax Max Challenge drivers will participate in the Red Bull Drivers Search 2005 with a chance to become a member of the 2006 Red Bull Junior Team. All participants will be evaluated behind the wheel of Formula BMW race cars. Red Bull will cover the airfare as well as the accommodation of the nine BRP-Rotax drivers. The identity of three BRP-Rotax drivers is already known. Frenchman Benjamin Salvatore, grand winner of the 2004 Rotax World Finals in the Junior category, Britain s Adam Christadoulou, runner-up in the Junior class at the same World Finals, and South African Wesleigh Orr, winner of the 2004 World Rotax Finals in the RM1 category have already been selected. The other six drivers will consist of the 2005 Junior champion and runner-up of the Euro Challenge, the Junior Champion of the Asia Challenge, the two Junior drivers of the Australian Rotax Max Challenge and the Junior South African Champion. This is a perfect connection with the racing programs we have implemented worldwide, said Manfred Weißgaerber, Marketing Director of BRP-Rotax in Austria. We set up several Rotax Max Challenges around the world and thousands of participants compete in our series. There are strong chances to see one of our drivers reach the pinnacle of motor sport in the near future. Since 2000, the BRP-Rotax Karting Center is organizing several race series called Rotax Max Challenges that are held throughout the world. This year, more than 40 different countries host a national Rotax Max Challenge. At the end of the season, the 136 best national competitors from around the globe will be invited to compete in the World Finals scheduled November 21-27 in Langkawi, Malaysia. A European Challenge, officially called Mojo Euro Challenge is made of four meetings. The Asia Challenge is also made of four rounds.
