Now is the time to prepare diligently. We will be working very hard when practice begins in August. You must come to camp in shape! You will find the fitness testing exercises listed within the following pages. We will test each participating Shepherd Hill student in running and lifting on Thursday and Friday August 20 th, 21 st at 8:00am (sharp). This pre-season football packet contains vital information for you regarding the school, athletic department, and football teams: rules, regulations, recommendations, and requirements. In an effort to keep you and your parents as well informed as possible, please read carefully the rules and expectations. There is also a check off sheet with due dates of required documents for your coordination. It is imperative that we have all required information in as soon as possible so that we may directly concentrate on football related issues upon the first day of practice (8/24/15). I will also be posting important team information on my website, christopherlindstrom.weebley.com. Please check this website regularly throughout the summer for any updates or changes. We will also be sending reminders and updates throughout the summer email via HUDL so please make sure those accounts are up-to-date and checked often. It is imperative for the success of the team, and your personal success, that you are faithful to your running and lifting workouts at either the Shepherd Hill fitness room or on your own. Role & Expectations Shepherd Hill Football Student athlete Attend all practices and games. Participation in games is directly related to the effort put forth in practice, understanding, and knowledge of your role within the framework of the team, ability to execute those skills and techniques as a contributing team member. At the sub- varsity level, all team members in good standing will receive playing time in game situations. Responsible for maintaining equipment and clothing issued to you and returning it at the conclusion of the season. Issued equipment and clothing are to worn only at scheduled practices and games. Students not returning any of the issued material will be assessed the cost of replacement, which must be paid prior to involvement in any other sport season. Be supportive of your teammates, cooperative with your coach, abide by all team training rules, and demonstrate team loyalty. Understand and practice T.E.A.M.
