This is another fun team event where you and your partner will each hit a drive, pick the best drive of the two, and then play your own ball out from that point. Players will receive 70% of individual handicaps and it will be another 8:30 AM shotgun start. Food and beer is included in the $50 individual entry fee. The golf course is in great shape so grab your favorite Berkeley member and come on out! Sign up in the Golf Shop or just give us a call, spots will be limited! Superintendent News May 2017 On May 15th, we will aerify the greens for the only time this year. In the past, we always used the big 5/8 tines. This year we are trying something different, we will use smaller 3/8 tines. The reason for trying is I want to see the difference in healing time and also I want to see how the putting surfaces drain through the summer. If it is a success, this may be a plan to continue in years to come. My staff and I have been slinging the fertilizer the past month. You can see the benefits. Going in to last winter after the drought, I am excited about how well the grass has reacted and come back. We will be waiting until the middle of this month to determine if we need to re-sod any areas. Please remember to fill your divots, rake your bunker shots, and repair you ball marks. Chris Purvis Junior Golf A reminder that on Wednesday nights @ 5:30 there are Junior Playdays or Junior Clinics. Come by the Golf Shop or give us a call to sign your child up! Looking forward to the summer, we will hold Junior Camps in June and July and a Junior Tournament once a month on Saturday afternoons. If you would like to find out more on camps and tournaments come see us in the shop or check out our Junior Board outside the Mixed Grill in the clubhouse Junior Camps June 6, 7, 8th - June 27, 28, 29th - July 18, 19, 20th - Golf Swim Tennis Golf Camp Golf Camp Junior Tournaments June 17th - Parent Child July 15th - Junior Member Member August 12th - Junior Club Championship Sept. 1st - Junior Member Guest

Kathy Ryan, Daisy Chistolini, Patty Small, Ann Cohen The BHCC Barracudas is a summer swim team which is part of Gwinnett County Swim League. We are part of the West division, comprised of 5 teams with 6 meets per season. We take pride in the fact that every swimmer is important and a vital part of the team. Summer swim is a great way to introduce your kids to a wonderful, competitive, and FUN sport. It is also an excellent way for younger swimmers to learn and perfect their strokes while older kids can stay in shape throughout the summer or cross-train for other sports. Most importantly though, we are here to have FUN!!! We feel that summer swim is a time for families to come together to make lasting memories. Our coaches are top notch. Their love of the sport and the kids shows in how much the kids love them back. Emily Bos is a two time Olympic time trial qualifier, Director of Aquatics for Greater Atlanta Christian School. Jake Grubb has been swimming with the Barracudas since the age of 4 and has been part of the coaching staff since he was 18. Amelia Keller has been swimming with the Barracudas since she was 6 and swims for GAC. Garrett Wright has swam competitively for 11 years now and also swims for GAC. Berkeley Hills Barracudas is a parent supported organization. Without the efforts of all the families, we would not be here. Also, a special thanks to Berkeley Hills Country Club, who sponsors us and allows us to use their facility. Dana Seay, Sandy Pagano, Charlotte Scott, Vivian Brackett Come check us out! For more information, please contact Victoria Eigen @ 678-643-1523, veigen68@gmail.com.
