GOLF ETIQUETTE CARE OF THE COURSE: Before leaving a bunker all players must carefully smoo over all holes and footprints. Rakes are to be left in e centre of e bunker. Through e green a player must ensure at any turf, cut or displaced by a player is replaced at once and pressed down, and at any damage to e putting green made by e ball or e player, is carefully repaired. Players must ensure at when placing down bags or e flagstick, no damage is done to e putting green and at neier ey nor eir caddies damage e hole by standing close to it, handling e flagstick or in removing e ball from e hole. The flagstick must be properly replaced in e hole before e players leave e putting green. Players must not damage e putting green by leaning on eir putter, particularly when removing e ball from e hole. In taking practice swings, players should not cause any damage to e course and tees by removing divots. It is compulsory to carry and use a sand bucket at all times. GOLFCARTS: The following conditions apply to all motorised cars: Obey all directional signs Keep to paways where provided; Do not drive wiin five metres of all greens and tees unless on a paway: Two persons only in each cart. Improper use of carts will result in disciplinary action. Members are asked to pay particular attention to e following paragraphs - observance of em will add to e pleasure on e Course of all concerned. COURTESY ON THE GOLF COURSE: In e interest and in consideration of all, players must play wiout delay. No player should play until players in front are out of range. Players searching for a ball must signal e players behind em to pass as soon as it becomes apparent at e ball will not be easily found; ey should not search for five minutes before doing so; ey must not continue to play until players have passed and are out of range. When e play of a hole has been completed, players should immediately leave e green. 3

BEHAVIOUR DURING PLAY: No one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind e ball or hole when a player is addressing e ball or making a stroke. To speed up play, e honour may be taken by e first player in readiness or it is suggested at shorter hitters may play first, but only when e preceding group is out of range. PRIORITY ON THE COURSE: Maximum number of players in any group shall be four unless directed by e Match Committee. Two-Ball matches have precedence and are entitled to pass any ree or four-ball match. Asingle player has no standing and must give way to a match of any kind. Any match playing a whole round is entitled to pass a match playing a shorter round. If a match fails to keep its place on e course and loses more an one clear hole on players in front, it must allow e match following to pass. GENERAL: STROKE, PAR, STABLEFORD Full Handicap FOURSOMES Half of Aggregate Stroke Handicap Players hit off from alternate tees, and en play alternately wi one ball. CANADIAN FOURSOMES 3/8s of Aggregate Stroke Handicap- Bo Players play from eir tees, select favoured ball, playing alternate strokes until holed out. AMERICAN FOURSOMES 3/8s of Aggregate Stroke Handicap Bo Players play from eir tees, exchange balls and play a furer shot before playing alternately wi e favoured ball until holed out. PINEHURST FOURSOMES 3/8s of Aggregate Stroke Handicap Bo Players play from eir tees, play a furer shot wi eir ball before playing alternately wi e favoured ball until holed out. IRISH FOUR- BALL Full Handicap Played by a team of four, comprising all men, all women or a combination of bo. The score is e best score by any two of e four in e team. This event may also be played wi a 'Twist'. 4 or 5 CLUB EVENT In a 4 club event, players are only permitted to carry 4 clubs. Carrying a putter is optional and you may putt wi any club in a way at does not damage e green. In a 5 club event, players are only permitted to carry 5 clubs, one of 10

ose must be a putter. You cannot declare excess clubs out of play ey must be removed from your bag before commencing e competition. AMBROSE Handicaps: After calculations are made (1/8 of e total in 4 ball and ¼ of e total in 2 ball). Tee Shots: Each Player must use at least 6 of eir tee shots in 2 ball and 3 in 4 ball. The scorer must record on each hole whose tee shot is used. This does not apply toambrose Dropout. On e Fairway: Place a marker wiin one club leng of e chosen ball. Such ball to be played as it lies, oer balls may be placed, as near as possible to e position from which e ball was marked, (no nearer e hole), any order of play. Off e Fairway: Same procedure as above, except, balls oer an e chosen ball shall be dropped in e same conditions (no nearer e hole) i.e. hazard, rough, bunker. On e Putting Green: The chosen ball must be marked. Oer balls to be putted wiin one putter head leng eier side of e chosen ball, no nearer e hole. Any order of play. Do not make tap in putts until all players have had e opportunity to attempt e original putt. Once e ball is holed out, no furer strokes are permitted. FOUR- BALLAMBROSE DROPOUT All four players make eir tee shot. Select e best drive and mark e ball. The player who owns e best drive picks up e ball and does NOT play e next shot e player drops out of e next shot. The oer 3 players make eir shots. Select e best of ese. Mark e ball and e owner of e marked ball picks up ball and drops out while e oer 3 players play e shot. Continue like is until hole completed. Placing or dropping e ball on fairway/green/rough is e same as forambrose. MATCH PLAY Difference of Stroke Handicap. FOUR-BALLMATCH PLAY: Reduce e handicap of all players by e handicap of e lowest handicapped player who will en play off scratch. The oer ree players are allowed all of e resulting handicap. 11

PAMBULA-MERIMBULA GOLF CLUB CLUB COMPETITION RULES 2018 1. MATCH COMMITTEE Definition The Match Committee means e Match Committee appointed by e Board of Directors and will comprise e Club Captain, Men's Vice Captain, Club Professional, Men's Handicapper, Tournament Manager and Match Committee Secretary. A member of e Match Committee (or Ladies Match Committee), present during e playing of an event, may exercise all e functions/responsibilities of e Match Committee in relation to e event and shall constitute e Committee wiin e Rules of Golf for e purpose of conducting e event. The Match Committee (or Ladies Match Committee) has control of competition play at all times and reserves e right to alter e programme and meod of play at any time. 2. TIME SHEETS The placement of a competitor's name via internet, computer touch screen or hardcopy on a time sheet will be deemed to be officially recognised as e time laid down by e Committee. The Match Committee reserves e right to alter any time sheets. 3. OFFICIAL STARTER Official Starter for all competition events will be e Club Professional and at times may be assisted by additional starters. Generally, competition play will commence from two (2) tees. Players failing to report to e starter 10 minutes prior to hit off times may be required to go to e end of e field, provided time permits. 4. ELIGIBILITY FOR EVENTS Apart from Club fixture events, conditions will be advised on publication of e programme for Open Tournaments such as Sapphire Coast Week of Golf, Ace of Clubs, Ladies Open, etc. Restricted and Recreational Members cannot participate in men's, ladies or mixed honour board events (e.g. Club Championships and Foursomes Championships) and Monly Medals. Members wi a current GA handicap and belonging to any oer golfing membership categories may participate in and win ese events. Individual Conditions of Play will be posted for e 'Annual Events' as listed in e Fixture Book. The Conditions of Play will include eligibility to 12

participate. All Players All oer trophies may be won by visitors wi evidence of a current G.A. handicap and paying current Green Fee and Competition Fees. 5. HANDICAPS Daily handicaps will be used for all events unless oerwise stated. Maximum handicaps will be as follows: Men * Male Members/ Visitors wi daily Handicap 36. Ladies * Lady Members/ Visitors wi daily Handicap 45 All Players All players oer an home club players are required to record eir details via touch screen including full name home club golf link number and current handicap. A visiting Country Member must produce eir PMGC membership card, oerwise full green fees will be charged. The Committee representatives in charge of a competition will require a player to play off eir displayed daily handicap. Handicap Grades: Men are generally: Ladies are generally: A Grade: 0 11 Division 1: 0 19 B Grade: 12 16 Division 2: 20 27 C Grade: 17 21 Division 3: 28 45 D Grade: 22-36 The Committee representatives in charge of a competition have e right to change e Grades for bo Men and Ladies at any time. COMPETITION ENTRY FEES As determined by e Board of Directors from time to time. Current fees are displayed on club notice boards in e Information Centre and ladies locker room and on e PMGC website. 8. MONTHLY MEDAL ROUNDS Men In e event of a tie in Monly Medal, e players will play off at e next Monly Medal round or a date nominated by e Committee. In November all medal winners will compete for e Medal of Medallist's Trophy. In Stroke events only, best scratch will win a voucher. Ladies In e event of a tie in a Monly Medal round, e players will play off in e next Monly Medal round or a date nominated by e Ladies Match Committee. In October all monly medal winners may compete for e Medal of Medallist's Trophy. In all rounds play will be off e current daily handicap. 9. MIXED EVENTS Mixed Foursomes Championships best scratch and nett scores will be recognised. 10. TROPHIES Collection Any trophies or Club vouchers won in Club competitions and not accepted at time of presentation will be lodged at e Club Administration Office and will be available for collection during office hours. If trophies / vouchers are not collected wiin one (1) mon of presentation, ey will be forfeited and revert to e Club. Donated Trophies Medal Rounds Will be awarded for e best eligible Nett score. Birdie Hole Men ~ No Birdie Hole awarded. Ladies ~ The Birdie Hole for e day will be displayed on e notice board in e Ladies locker room. This applies to Club Fixture events for Tuesday and Thursday only. (Single events only) Eagles Men ~ On Par 4 holes only in all competition singles events as per e Fixture Book and Club Championships only. Exceptions to is will be advised. Ladies ~ All 18 hole singles events only to qualify 14

Nearest e Pins All Nearest e Pin claims must be on e putting surface, e 4 and 27 holes for e Ladies is measured on e second shot. Measurements must be made using e flagstick provided or metal tape measure to e middle of e hole (not e edge of e hole). Hole-in-One Eligibility in all fixture competitions only. Sponsors Trophy and ball mounted trophy will be awarded to members and visitors possessing a current G.A. handicap. Only members will appear on e Honour Boards. 11. CARDS Cards must be entered via touch screen and cards returned to e recorder wiin 10 minutes of e completion of play. All disputes are to be resolved prior to handing in e cards involved. 12. DRESS Players' attention is directed to e Competition Dress Rules displayed in e Pro Shop. 13. JUNIOR / CADET MEMBERS In all Club events wiout approval from e Committee representatives, or Professional, no more an two (2) juniors or one (1) Cadet permitted in any group of four players. 14. SLOW PLAY The low handicapper is responsible for his/her group, but any penalty will be incurred by all players in e group. Players who fall behind ose in front during a competition round and fail to make up e lost ground will incur, after e necessary warning, e appropriate penalties. Any group failing to maintain eir position in e field MUST call e following group rough at e first appropriate opportunity. Penalties ~ Will be in accordance wi Rule 6 7 undue delay slow play 15. AUTO LOCOMOTION Auto locomotion is permitted subject to course conditions for all players and in compliance wi e Club's registration policy for Carts, Bikes and Skate Caddies. GOLF CARTS The following regulations regarding golf cart usage apply at all times:- 1 Carts are not to be driven by anyone under 18 years, unless auority has been given by e Club Professional. 2 Two (2) persons only in each cart. 15

3 Carts are not to be driven wiin five (5) metres of all greens, tees, bunkers and dams unless on an established paway. 4 Keep to paways where provided. 5 Do not leave cart in front of greens when putting out Improper use of carts will result in e occupants' disqualification from competition. 17. MOBILE PHONES Mobile Phones are not permitted for personal use during playing and are only permitted for e following use Medical Emergencies Contacting e Pro Shop or Club House Penalty: One warning and en disqualification. In Match play e warning may be given by e opponent who may en make a claim in e event of subsequent use. 18. SUSPENSION OR ABANDONMENT OF PLAY Discontinue play for dangerous situations (i.e. immediate suspension) - One prolonged note of siren. Discontinue play for non-dangerous situation - Three consecutive notes of siren, repeated. Resume play -Two short notes of siren, repeated. 19. DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES A player may obtain distance information by using a device at measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distancemeasuring device at is designed to gauge or measure oer conditions at might affect his/her play (eg. gradient, wind speed, temperature etc.) and uses one of ese functions, e player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which e penalty is disqualification. 20.
