Terminals Operators Guide Installation: Go to http://www.rosnet2000.com/uktote/install.html for step by step installation help with images for reference. Minimum Requirements (PC): Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 Intel Pentium II or higher 512mb Ram 10mb free Hard Drive Space 10/100mb Network Card Layout (from Top to Bottom) : Terminal Information Bar: The top of the terminal contains several text fields that display information about the Selected Track and the Account Balance. (from Left to Right) Date Today s date. Track Name Displays the Selected Track Name. Race (Red) Displays the Select Race at the Selected Track. Post Time Displays the Post Time of the Current Race at the Selected Track. Race (Green) Displays the Current Race at the Selected Track. MTP Display Displays the Minutes until Post for the Current Race at the Selected Track. Race Buttons: This set of buttons controls Race Selection. The numbers of the Available Races at the Selected Track are displayed from left to right. The Current Race is highlighted in Green. The Selected Race is highlighted in Red. Highlighting the Current Race is controlled by an auto updating cycle timer. Setup and Control Buttons: This set of buttons will handle most of the terminal options and daily setup.

(from Left to Right). Tool Tip Turns on (or off) hover tips. A Quick Help reference for operators. Internet Launches an in program web browser for access to the web. Scratch Opens a panel that displays the Scratches at the Selected Track. Result Displays the Race Results for today the Selected Track. Early Sets the Terminal to load matinee or morning racing. Late Sets the Terminal to load evening racing. Dogs Sets the Terminal to load greyhound tracks. Early or Late must be selected. Horses Sets the Terminal to load horse tracks. Early or Late must be selected. Harness Sets the Terminal to load harness tracks. Early or Late must be selected. Sports Sets the Terminal to load available sports. Early or Late must be selected. Entries Displays Entries for the day at the Selected Track (Printable). Results Displays Results for the day at the Selected Track (Printable). Cash Opens the Cash Drawer (see Cash Drawer below). Ticket Displays information about a ticket (see Scanning a Ticket below). Bet View Displays all wagers made from account between dates (see Bet View below). Refresh Manually updates all racing information on the terminal. Submit Submits manually entered serial # of ticket to load. Clear Clears Serial Number input text field. Sports Bet Slip Displays printable sports slip. Cancel Cancels scanned ticket if possible. X Clears selected runner(s) from bet string. History Displays wager history on account between selected dates (Printable). Report Displays cash report on account between selected dates (Printable). Summary Displays summary on account between selected dates (Printable). *Calendar Controls: Left Clicking Month will advance the month forward. Right Clicking Month will go to previous month. Double Clicking date will select the same date as the range (single day report).

Pool Buttons: Set of (20) buttons that display, and allow for selection of a desired pool. Bet Unit Amount: Set of (10) buttons that display, and allow for selection of amount to wager. The button on the far right allows user to add amounts. For example if you wanted to wager 3 units, you would click the 2 then the + then the 1. Denominations range from 100.00 to 0.10. Modifier Buttons: Used in the construction of the wager. With (/), Box, All, Win Only, and Fav. Fav is short for Tote Favorite. Win Only refers to Win ONLY pools. Runner Buttons: This set of (40) buttons displays, and allows for the selection of runners for constructing a wager. The runners load upon selecting a race at a selected track. Hovering over the runner button will display the Runner Name and Win Odds in the text box below. Scratched runners are labeled sc on their corresponding runner button. Set Sets the constructed wager into tote acceptable format. Adds wager and displays total wager cost. Send Submits/Sends the constructed wager. Track Buttons: This set of buttons controls the selection of a track. Early or Late, and a sport must first be selected to display available tracks. Upon selecting a track, the Current Race will be loaded. Today s Track Status is indicated as: Active Bright White Pending Grey Finished Brown Nightly Service Notice: on the start of a 'new day' System Cycle Update occurs nightly at 10:00-10:30 UTC SUSPENDED temporarily suspension goes to (black screen) "SUSPENDED" (in red) "Apologies... System Cycle Update underway, please stand by...any ticket sale interrupted has not been completed and is discarded. Please resume sales when cycle update ends." "Note: tracks buttons may have shifted." "Thank you, System Administrator." Cancel Last Bet: Cancels ONLY the LAST WAGER placed on the terminal (if active). - Click Cancel Last Bet button, Serial number will be displayed, Click Cancel button. More Tracks: If there are more than 20 available tracks to select, clicking this button will display them. (*Note* If more than (18) Tracks available, More Tracks will be (Green).

Voucher Opens a panel for using a voucher (see Voucher below). Print Program Prints the Race Card/Program for the Selected Track. Print Statform Prints the Statform Tip Sheet for the Selected Track (only for US Greyhound). Information and Walk Through: Placing a Wager Walk Through: Select Early or Late. Select a Sport (Dog, Horse, Harness, Sports). Select a Track. Select a Race (Current Race will be auto selected). Select a Pool. Select a Wager Amount. Select Runners and use Modifiers if needed. Review Wager and Set the bet. Click X button to clear wager if not desired. Review Wager Total and Send the bet. Cashing a Winning Ticket Walk Through: Scan Ticket to retrieve Serial Number. Click Submit button. Winning amount displayed for operator. Cashing a Winning Ticket (Manually) Walk Through: Manually enter Serial number in text field. Followed by DDMMYY (No Spaces) format. Click Submit button. Winning amount displayed for operator.

Canceling a Wager (w/ticket) Walk Through: Scan Ticket to retrieve Serial Number. Click Cancel button. New Status will be displayed, if successful, status will be Canceled. Canceling a Wager (Manual) Walk Through: Manually enter Serial number in text field. Followed by DDMMYY (No Spaces) format. Click Cancel button. New Status will be displayed, if successful, status will be Canceled. Cash Drawer Setup Walk Through: Click Cash button. Enter Pin Number. ( 1234 is Default Pin) ***Contact Rosnet for Pin change (optional). Click End Shift. Enter Amount of Cash in Drawer. Click Start Shift. Terminal Information: Scanning a Ticket: When a ticket is scanned, the information about the wager is loaded into the terminal. If the wager is active, the operator has the ability to cancel the wager (if active). When a ticket is scanned, the serial number associated with the wager is displayed. This ticket panel also displays the receipt printer information, the size and location of the logo printed on the ticket, and additional information that can be printed (Company Name etc.). Cash Drawer: The Cash Drawer allows an operator the ability to keep a record of the daily cash transactions on the terminal. Upon first opening the terminal, the operator would key in the amount of his/her float for the shift, the terminal will keep a running total of tickets sold/cashed/refunded until shift ends.

Bet View: This report displays wagers placed on the terminal between selected dates. The operator will be given a calendar display from which he/she will select (2) dates to view transactions. Vouchers: The terminal is equipped with the ability to sell/cash/use vouchers for wagering. The operator takes cash from patron, sells him/her a voucher for the amount, then provides them with login credentials, with the balance ready to play on any self serve terminal used by this system, known as the Player Terminal.
