The revenue of the Federation will Include 1) Membership/ Subscription to be paid by Affiliated Associations/institutional Members/Life Members/Patrons. 2) Entry fee to be paid by the Organizers of National Championships. 3) Recognition Fees to be paid by the Organizers of national / International and other approved tournaments. 4) FIDE Fee payable by the organizers. 5) Fee for the award of titles 6) Fee for the award of Certificates 7) Players Registration fee 8) Special entry fee payable to AICF by Indian players for participating in International events as special entries 9) Fees received for services rendered or rights granted by Federation 10) Other contributions like sponsorship etc. 11) AICF Website uploading and handling charges 12) Such other receipts as may be incidental or mandatory to the above. B. Affiliation Fee / Special Membership Fee Each affiliated members shall pay to the Federation the annual subscription of Rs.3000/- (Rs. Three Thousand Only) between 1 st & 15 th of April or with a fine of Rs.100/- before 30 th April of that year. The annual subscription of Rs 10,000/- for the Institutional Members shall also be paid as above. C. The entry fees mentioned above on account of every player shall be paid by his/her respective State Association / Affiliated Unit / Entity / Player to the organizers at least 7 days before the start of each Championship or with in the time limit printed by the Organizers / AICF. The entries received after the stipulated time may be accepted by the organizers with a late fee of Rs. 250/- per player till 3 days before the commencement of the championship. No entry shall be entertained by the organizers there after. The organizers shall be liable to pay 50% (Fifty percent) of the entry fee to AICF by Demand Draft along with the details of entries with in seven days of the conclusion of the championship. If the payment is not made with in the stipulated period, the organizers will be liable to pay 10% Interest per month on the defaulted sum and equivalent of Euros 70/- which is penalty levied by FIDE for late submission of results. The Organisers of all official championships like Asian, World, Commonwealth, Asian Zone etc., shall pay 50% of the entry fee to the AICF. If the organizers have to pay any amount from the entry fee to FIDE, Asian Chess or to Commonwealth then they would pay 50% out of the balance to the AICF. The entry fee once paid shall not be refundable. The players representing the North Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar, shall be entitled to 50% (Fifty percent) concession in entry fee subject to confirmation every year. D. International Events Indian players aspiring to participate in International events as Special Entries shall submit their entries through the AICF in the prescribed form and shall pay to AICF an entry fee as stipulated by AICF from time to time. For participation in tournaments abroad, in addition to the fee stipulated by AICF a sum of Rs 500/- shall be paid towards Bank transfer Charges. However such entries will be considered as per the Rules and Regulations passed by the Central Council / General body of the AICF from time to time. E. Recognition Fee for National / International Competitions: Organizers of National Tournaments shall pay to the Federation, non-refundable recognition fee at the rates given below along with the bid form in advance. The application along with the Non Refundable Recognition fee shall be sent four months in advance with a detailed proposal and estimated budget to the AICF Secretariat. Entry Fee for State Championship and National Championship are exempt from this 1% Rule. (i) Rs.1,00,000/- each will be paid to the organizers of Under 7, Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 17 National Chess Championships. (ii) Rs.1,000/- shall be paid by AICF per player as boarding expenses participating in all the National Championships like National Under 7, 9, 11, 13, 17, 25 and National Challengers for Men & Women. This facility will be extended to the affiliated State Association s seeded players and qualified players only who play under Normal entry fee. However, for under 15 & 19, the respective organizers will pay Rs.1000/- per player (AICF shall not reimburse) as substantial grants are received from the Government of India towards Board & Lodge. This was done to encourage age group National Championship organizers (other than Under 15 & Under 19) as these organizers do not receive any Central Government Aid and also to motivate the chess playing children. The amount shall be disbursed after getting the audited statement of accounts. The prize money for all National Championships are as follows. The AICF will defray Rs.6/- lakhs and Rs.3.5 lakhs, to the organizers of the National Premier & National Women Premier towards Prize Fund. Following fees shall be payable to the Federation for the award of Titles and Certificates subject to changes introduced by FIDE from time to time. Coaches Remuneration: GMs : Rs.2,000/- IMs : Rs.1,500/- Professional Coaches : Rs.1,000/- Coaches will be paid the above amounts per day subject to, making themselves available for 4 hrs daily at the venue decided by the AICF and during the tournaments. K. AICF CHRONICLE Revenues from AICF CHRONICLE shall include promotion of tournament through AICF website. Promotion of tournament through AICF website at the following rates shall be levied for publishing in AICF CHRONICLE: Back Cover (colour) : Rs.15000/- 120000/- Inside Cover (colour) : Rs.10000/- 100000/- Full page Inside (colour) : Rs. 7000/- 60000/- Full page Inside (Black & White) : Rs. 5000/- 45000/- Half page Inside (Black & White) : Rs. 3000/- 30000/- L. AICF Website Promotion of tournament through All India Chess Federation website will be Rs.5,000/-. This will also be carried in the AICF CHRONICLE as a gesture. M. Monroi systems (Maintenance and Handling Charges) 6

Clock. For supply of Chess clocks : Rs.100/- per clock Plus handling charges O. Payment to the Office Bearers and Secretariat Staff 1. Traveling expenses of the Hon. Secretary The Secretary shall be paid airfare for his actual journeys performed in connection with the championship / Tournament of the Federation, Meetings of the Federation and any secretarial job requiring his personal attendance. In addition he shall be eligible incidental allowance of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) for each day of travel and halt. He shall also be eligible for being re-imbursed with the actual hotel expenses on production of proper bills, Expenses for traveling by other modes of conveyance shall also be met by the Federation. The same facility will be extended to the other Office Bearers with the approval of the Hon. Secretary 2. Traveling allowance of members to AGM A lumpsum amount will be paid to one member from each affiliated State Chess Association / Office Bearers when they attend the AGM / CC as detailed below: For travel time of upto 12 hrs : Rs.1500/- For travel time of more than 12 hrs and upto 24 hrs : Rs.3000/- For travel time of more than 24 hrs : Rs.4000/- North East / Andaman & Nicobar : Rs.6000/- Money will be paid for actual travel and not otherwise. P. Conditions of Services of the Secretariat Staff 1. The number and the category of the secretarial staff to be engaged and the remuneration and other benefits which they will enjoy will be decided by the President. 2. The working hours of the AICF Secretariat shall be from 10.30AMto5.30 PM. 3. All Sundays and Central Government public holidays shall be holidays for the AICF Secretariat provided however that no member of staff shall decline to work on such holidays in the event of an exigency. 4. The Secretarial Staff shall also be eligible for twelve days of non cumulative casual leave in a Calendar year subject to the condition that not more than three days of the leave shall be availed of at a stretch other wise than on medical ground and also that leave shall not be claimed as a matter of right. 5. Medical reimbursement for self and dependents of staff will be subject to President s discretion. 7

Q. Cash Incentives for Medal winners in Official Championships The AICF shall present the players with the following cash incentives whenever they win Medals in the Official Chess Championships as detailed below. GM / IM International tournament Rs.25,000.00 Apart from the above, the Chief Arbiter shall be reimbursed to & fro 2 nd AC train fare, free Board & lodge apart from local transportation. 6. For World / Asian championships (open) Rs.50,000.00 7. For Asian Youth / Asian School / Asian JuniorRs.30,000.00 (Apart from the above, the Chief Arbiter shall be reimbursed to & fro Air fare, free Board & lodge apart from local transportation). S. Organisers of National Championships shall pay the following to the Deputy Arbiters nominated by the Federation. 1. National Premier Rs.15,000.00 2. National Women Premier Rs.12,000.00 3. All Classical National Championships Rs.10,000.00 4. All National Rapid Championships Rs.06,000.00 5. GM/IM International tournament Rs.18,000.00 Apart from the above, the Deputy Arbiters shall be reimbursed to & fro 3 rd AC train fare, free Board & Lodge apart from local transportation. 6. Monroi / DGT Board operators will be as Deputy Chief Arbiter for the purpose of disposing the Honorarium. T. Rs.2000 for Creating and updating website one time from AICF to all State Associations. 8
