Forged Perfection for Every Golfer
The Golf Club Artistry of Forged Steel In every MIURA golf club, Katsuhiro Miura and his sons combine three lifetimes of skills honed in the steel making heart of Japan, where the Samurai came for centuries to have their swords forged. Uncompromising quality standards, an eye for the most effective golf designs, and a family approach to business mark MIURA as a step above other golf equipment. MIURA clubs have been used to win U.S. Opens, Masters, and countless other coveted titles. They will elevate your game as well. 2
Mastering The Molecules Fine-Grain Steel and the Solidity of Spin-Forging Through his years of work in forging and finishing steel, Mr. Miura has learned that forging an iron head from toe to hosel in one piece stretches that grain apart, resulting in gaps that interfere with robust impact. So he forges the perfect head from toe to heel, with a molecular structure that guarantees a fine grain, with no internal gaps. The purity of strike from such a club can be felt on the very first hit. Then Mr. Miura spins the forged hosel piece onto the newly forged head at very high speeds, creating enough friction and heat to spin forge the two pieces together into a strong unit of peerless grain structure. Mr. Miura and his staff then grind, chrome and finish the club into a seamless work of industrial and golf art. These forging and spin-welding processes, always done to the highest standards, have secured for MIURA the respect of golf club experts and enthusiasts around the worlds. 3
1957 CB57 The 1957 CB head features a medium-sized cavity and a carefully sized weight bar to provide the benefits of perimeter weighting and solidity behind the hitting area. Still, the cavity is not so big as to interfere with the forged look and feel, especially from the address position. The weight bar keeps the center of gravity low, and changes size club-to-club as needed to position the center of gravity not just down, but exactly where it needs to be. CB-501 Inside a perfectly engineered cavity is a muscle back and a precision weight bar - a design combination that melds the best of forged feel with a little ball-flight help. But behind the ball at address, the extremely popular 501 shows a clean, classic forged-iron look. Here's a club that has already helped thousands develop the confidence to convert their games to forged excellence. The sole, ground to shapes preferred by pros, interacts crisply with the turf to enhance contact and encourage consistency. The progressive offset is modest and flows flawlessly from hosel to club head. Passing Point 9003 Just as acquaintances become friends and novices become experts, casual golfers pass into the realm of serious player. That's the golfer who will love the new Passing Point 9003 irons, a game enhancement model that offers peerless Miura feel and feedback in a larger, cavity-back design. The slightly wider sole helps with turf interaction, but doesn't look too broad. The offset blends nicely into the club head and the cavity distributes the weight to help get the ball up quickly -- but always in a forthright flight that never balloons. 6 Loft ( ) Lie ( ) Weight #4 22 60.0 249 #5 25 60.5 256 #6 28 61.0 263 #7 32 61.5 270 #8 36 62.0 278 #9 40 62.5 285 PW 45 63.0 293 GW 50 294 Offset ( ) 5.6 5.4 5.1 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.1 3.5

Left Handed Y Grinds The Y Grind, although most visible on the sole and leading edge, actually encompasses many more subtle changes to the club head. This is necessary to maintain the integrity of the head, including head weight, density and overall balance. These refinements elevate the Left Handed Y Grind irons to another level. More efficient turf interaction is made possible through the subtle leading edge and sole modifications. This includes the appropriate bounce angles on each specific iron while maintaining desired lie angles. The Miura family commitment to detail is evident in the Y Grind, especially at the address position. Subtle changes to the top line and toe profile work in concert with the sole grind delivering a new level of confidence to the golfer. 9
Special Wedges K-Grind One of the great enthusiasms of the Miuras is to convert marvelous short game ideas into magnificent wedges. The special grinds they come up with become instant allies in the bags of golfers who take their short games seriously and delight in the performance of these great designs. If you're looking for a special leading edge, trailing edge, bounce/loft combination or a distinctive approach to turf and sand interaction on less-than-full swings, these wedges have to be on your list to look at. MB-001 Blade The new MB001 forged blade iron is Miura s first new design in this category in six years. Quality, not the calendar, dictates our timetable. It s the culmination of all the lessons the Miura family has learned from watching iron performance over the last decade. A refined sole moves through the turf more easily, helping the golfer to stay square at impact. The top line is elegant and strong, and the flow from hosel to face is natural and pleasing to the player s eye. Small Blades I have a special pride in this club," Mr. Miura says. "That's because it's so easy to hit." A small blade? Easy to hit? In Mr. Miura's innovative mind, it makes sense. He doesn't buy into the myth that small, blade-like heads have to be hard to hit. Instead, he encourages recreational golfers to try this pleasing design. The smaller size -- 15 percent smaller overall -- makes the club head easier to square up at impact. But Mr. Miura was careful to make the face dense and substantial, to deliver a robust impact and an aggressive ball flight. 14 "Commitment to Tradition" Series 1957 by MIURA is the special edition Loft ( ) Lie ( ) #3 21 59.0 #4 24 59.5 #5 27 60.0 #6 30 60.5 #7 34 61.0 #8 38 61.5 #9 42 62.0 PW 47 62.5 Weight 245 251 258 265 272 280 288 298
