Notes: 22 The Arkansas Department of Correction Agriculture Department provides the horses for all of the various needs of the ADC. We begin training the horses at age 2 and they begin work at age 4. During the course of their career they will be exposed to various jobs. The jobs include but are not limited to security, working cows, going on searches with the dog kennel, and regional maintenance. At the end of the day, we know that we could not effectively do the jobs we do without the horses that we love. Now it is time to find this group a good new home. If you have purchased a horse in the past and have any stories about the horse s new life please share them with us at david.farabough@arkansas.gov. 3
