RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. This event will run under current riding club rules. 2. The committee reserve the right to refuse entry or disqualify any animal that is deemed unfit to compete. 3. The committee and land owners will not be responsible for any injuries arising from accidents to persons or animals, or theft of properties on the grounds during the event. 4. The judge s decision is final, and the committee reserves the right to alter or vary the schedule or to decline an entry. 5. Hard hats are compulsory at all times when mounted and MUST comply with one of the following standards: PAS 015 (1998 OR 2011), BSEN 1384 (1997), EN 1384 (1996), ASTMF1163 (2004), SNELL E2001 or AS/NZS 3838 (2003 or 2006) and must be securely fastened at all times when mounted. Body protectors are recommended for all jumping classes but aren t a necessity. 6. All horses and ponies must be 4 years old and over to compete in ridden classes. 7. All dogs must be kept on leads at all times; failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the field. All dog s foul must be picked up. 8. Strictly no cantering or galloping on the field between rings. 9. Strictly no parking of horse boxes/ trailers beside or between the rings. 10. Objections must be handed into the secretary IN WRITING within 15 minutes of the end of the class, together with a deposit of 10. Objections will be dealt with at the end of the day. Any objection not in writing will be dismissed. In the event of a complaint, a height certificate may be required to be produced. 11. In the event of cancellation entry fees will be refunded MINUS a 2 admin fee. This runs alongside the conditions if the entire show is cancelled. 12. Refunds will only be issued on production of a vet/doctors certificate. HEALTH AND SAFETY The committee has taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those attending the show. Members of the public and competitors are equally responsible for ensuring that they do not put others at risk and that they cooperate with the organisers in compliance with Health and Safety Legislation. In the interest of security please ensure that Horses, Trailers, Lorries and all tack are left secure when unattended. The onus is on every rider who suffers a fall or anyone who suffers an injury whilst in the field, to report the fall/injury to the show secretary
