NOW ACCEPTING SCHOOL BOOKINGS! 2018 Season Begins the week of May 14 th School Rates: «$25.00 per student» Includes harness, guides and ground school. «No Charge for Teachers/Chaperones within Recommended Ratio (see below)» «$35.00 per Additional Teachers/Chaperones over Recommended Ratio» «$30.00 per hour for Additional Guides if required» «Customized lunches available starting at $10.00 per person» Call our School Group Coordinator at 780-809-2373! or for further information visit www.snowvalley.ca/aerial-park Up to 3 hours (including 20 minute ground school) on over 114 elements located on 3 levels. The elements are graded much like a ski hill with Green (easiest), Blue (moderate) and Black (di icult) challenges. A KidZone for those under 125 cm is available on the ground level and has 21 challenging elements. Up to 20 students may be accommodated at one time for ground school session and loaded on to the tower in 30 minute intervals. Exceptions to this ratio may be considered. Guides will lead your group and provide ground school instruction. This includes fitting of a harness, instruction on the use of the "Clic-it" belay system, movement and climbing techniques, operational and safety guidelines. This activity was approved in June 2017 by the "Alberta Safety Guidelines for Physical Activity in Schools". Teacher/Chaperone Ratios: Grade 4 to 6: Grade 7 to 9: 1 for every 10 students - Must be harnessed on tower 1 for every 15 students - Must be harnessed on tower Grade 10 to 12: 1 for every 30 students

Check the current weather forecast for the day and wear appropriate clothing. Most guests dress in layers. Wear proper fitting running shoes. Closed toe and secured to the foot (no flip-flops, Crocs, or slides/flats). Bring a water bottle to rehydrate, and snack to refuel. Safety FIRST! No cameras, phones, jewellery or loose objects allowed on the tower. Eyeglasses to have retainers (available to borrow). Head-scarves are permitted but must be tied in the back rather than under the chin, Please lock your valuables in your vehicle or leave them at home/school. A limited number of small complimentary lockers are available. Please note we are not responsible for lost items. BOOKING STUFF! You will receive confirmation of the booking by email with all this information. Minimum number of participants must be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance and school will be invoiced. 48 hour cancellation notice is required. We will make every effort to reschedule your day. Bad Weather Policy: If Snow Valley Aerial Park deems the weather to be unsafe, we will resume within a reasonable time and if your schedule permits. If we are unable to resume, we will make every effort to reschedule you day. Light rain and wind will not affect safety. GST will be added for Senior High School classes.

More AWESOME Stuff to Know: Our Aerial Park is designed for use by participants of average physical condition and in reasonable good health. Each participant on the Tower must be able to pull themselves up a few inches in the event they lose momentum or fall before reaching any given landing platform. Supervising adults may need to help children with the "Clic-it" Safety Belay system. Everyone on the tower must be harnessed even if they are not participating. Harnessed participants may not leave the Tower area once the ground school is complete. It is recommended that participants use the washroom and safely secure personal items prior to the 15 to 20 minute ground school session begins. Exceptions will be made if necessary. Picnic tables are available on site. A picnic shelter is available on a first-come, first served bases and cannot be reserved. Snow Valley Aerial Park reserves the right to exclude anyone from participation for medical, safety, or other reasons we deem to not be conducive to use of the Park. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your booking so that everyone can get organized, use the washroom, and be ready for their adventure at the alloted time. Check-in is at Rainbow Valley Chalet across the parking lot from The Lodge at Snow Valley. You will have to exit the Park accordingly to accommodate other groups/visitors, as demand requires.
