RMR E- NEWS February 17, 2014 Happy President's Day...I hope you got the day off and are doing something fun like shooting birds! RMR has about 45 days left for you to hunt Pheasant and Chukar. If you want to get in a few more hunts before the end of the season (March 30) give us a call at 719-635-3257. Take advantage of the great hunting conditions that we have been blessed with at the club! Some snow and great hunting weather--call and make a reservation or two for a hunt. We will stop hunting on March 30. Remember May renewal folks...your hunts do not carry over to the next season. Use em' or lose em'! 2 of 6 2/17/2014 9:46 AM As you might know, RMR has a lodge in Argentina for Dove Hunting. You can not even imagine how many birds there are unless you actually see it. Estimates say between 80-100 million. (I tried to count one day and lost my place at 23 million, but I digress...) DOVE IN ARGENTINA If you would like to come with us, we hunt every day--year round--in Argentina. The cost for a 3 day hunt is $2200 and that includes 2000 rounds of ammo!! A smokin' deal for sure. We have found a very affordable lodge and our experience has not been fishing, but CATCHING! A first class place and it is very conducive for families and couples. Give him a shout and tell him RMR sent you! 303-919-3899 NEW MEXICO ANTELOPE, DEER, ELK We have been hunting with Roger and Audrey McQueen and Trophy Ridge Outfitters in New Mexico for many years and they run a quality operation for sure. New Mexico is a state where all non-resident hunters have to draw a license in the lottery, they take care of all of the applications and the permit process. If you can draw a license, there are good
3 of 6 2/17/2014 9:46 AM opportunities for trophy animals. The hunts are fully guided with meals and lodging, but you have to draw a tag to hunt. The Elk hunts are $4500 and the Mule Deer hunts are $3500, plus licenses. If you would like to apply to hunt in New Mexico with Trophy Ridge and RMR, email us at hunt@rmroosters.com and we will get you all of the information necessary to get in the drawing. Applications need to be done and into us by March 1st, 2014. They also offer some of the best Pronghorn Antelope hunting in the west! You have to have a hunters safety card to apply for licenses in New Mexico and they take archery, rifle and muzzleloader hunters. The Pronghorn hunts are $1950. Seasons are Sept-Nov 2014. This is an event that you will not want to miss! The Colorado Chapter of SCI really puts on a show and this is a fun evening and all of the money raised stays in Colorado. The SCI dinner is March 8th in Colorado Springs and you can get reservation forms on their website (you might have gotten one in the mail too) If you can't make the dinner, you can still take advantage of the several raffles that are taking place. You can get most of them on line at www.scicolorado.org The Ultimate Hunters Package sponsored by RMR member Kent Stevinson has 5 guns and a 32 gun safe.
