In 2015 our program introduced our season theme as WE ARE ELITE. That statement above is not an opinion, instead it s a fact. Mass Elite is an ELITE level AAU program consisting of ELITE Players, ELITE Coaches and ELITE Teachers. The word ELITE gets thrown around a lot but many times it s just a word. ELITE can be defined as being in a higher class, being the best of the best and being hard if not impossible to beat. We focus on the journey of getting to the ELITE level. 99.9% of people are not born into greatness. It s impossible to be selected as ELITE unless you have earned that status. The greatest athletes, artists, musicians all embarked on their own individual journeys to be the best. They strived for greatness although it took them a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get to that point. Our programs mission and goal is to give our student-athletes the tools necessary to eventually be the greatest or the best. None of our coaches or players are perfect, although what they all have in common is a determination and drive to succeed and be the best at that they do. None of our players are great but they are all on the path to greatness. Not only are our student-athletes striving to be ELITE players on the basketball court, they are doing the same in the classroom and in every aspect of their life. It s our players drive to perfection that make them among the ELITE. It s that intense and focused drive to greatness that distinguishes them from the rest of the group. WE ARE ELITE Coach Eric Polli
