The Mackinac Island Lilac Festival Committee has full and final decision regarding content of act as well as signage, appropriate attire and behavior of all participants, horses and dogs. 2. Due to the nature of this horse drawn parade, spacing each entry is essential to keep everyone safe. We ask that if your entry includes horse(s), you leave no less than 75 feet between entries, in front and behind. Those not abiding by this strict rule will be removed from the parade. 3. Our team takes pride in putting together the best line up of entries for the parade spectators. Please respect the line-up # given and stay in your order at line up and throughout the parade. New this year, you will be given a # to display on/in/with your entry during the parade. This will allow our judges to know they are judging the proper act. Please watch for parade volunteers along the route with Giddy Up and Whoa signs as they are trying to help space the parade to insure everyone can see your entry as we know you spent time and energy trying to put together a great float. 4.
