The technical data indicated n the Luminaire are t be bserved. Changes t the design and mdificatins f the Luminaire are nt permitted Only genuine replacement parts are t be used when unfreseen maintenance is required. Cnsult factry at www.larsnelectrnics.cm r authrized representative as required. Fr supply cnnectins use wire rated fr at least 90ºC Cnduit thru Munt (Figure 2) Installatin Steps: Fr maximum lng term reliability and light utput, the light must be installed in free air. The Linear fixture design incrprates an ver-temperature cntrl circuit that reduces input pwer shuld internal temperatures reach a maximum level. In this event, light utput may be reduced. The Linear fixture is threaded fr 3/4 NPT, at the center and each end f the Pwer Supply Husing, in rder t be assembled t cnduit. Attach cnduit as shwn in figure 2. Use an electrically cnductive, crrsin resistant, pipe sealant (per the Natinal Electric Cde) fr all fittings and cnduit. Install required seal fittings within 6 f the wire bx entrance. Seal fittings are required in bth Divisin 1 and Divisin 2 lcatins. Larsn Electrnics, LLC If there is misture present, r chance f it, in the cnduit system then necessary precautins shuld be taken by the installer t prevent the misture frm entering thru the cable r cnduit and entering the fixture. Failure t cmply with the abve culd vid factry warranties. Fixture is factry wired fr bth Pendant and thrugh wiring. Remve the Pwer Supply cver t attach incming pwer t the white wire and black wire leads with wire nuts at the end f the fixture. Attach the grund wire t the green grund lead supplied at the end f the fixture. Repeat this prcedure fr the ppsite end. Ensure that the -rings are prperly seated in the grves; reattach the Cver using the screws previusly remved. Tighten all screws t 40 in/lbs (4.52Nm) Cnnect incming pwer as fllws: Green t Safety Grund using green grund lead supplied at the end f the fixture. N user serviceable parts inside f fixture. Risk f electric shck. Remval f the lens will vid the warranty. See Figure 4. 1) We suggest perfrming visual, mechanical and electrical inspectins n a regular basis. We suggest rutine checks t be made n a yearly basis. Frequency f use and envirnment shuld determine this. It is recmmended t fllw an Electrical Preventive Maintenance Prgram as described in NFPA 70B: Recmmended Practice fr Electrical Equipment. 2) If the lens (Figure 4 belw) requires peridical cleaning t ensure cntinued phtmetric perfrmance. Clean the lens with a damp, nn-abrasive, lint-free clth. If nt sufficient, use mild sap and water. 3) Inspect the utside f the Luminaire husing t ensure that they are free f any bstructins r cntaminatin (i.e. excessive dust build-up). Clean with a nn-abrasive clth if needed. 4) D nt perate if the lens is cracked r damaged.
