2012 CHARTERS CHARTER RATES FOR 2012 Up to 15 Passengers $5025.00 + GST per night, INCLUDING FUEL* 16/17 Passengers $330/PP + GST per night, INCLUDING FUEL* 18/19 Passengers $325/PP + GST per night, INCLUDING FUEL* REEF TAX Government Reef Tax Applies and is charged at $18.00 per person per charter. GST 10% GST will be charged on: 20 TO 22 Passengers $320/PP + GST per night, INCLUDING FUEL* Daily Charter Rate Any Applicable Fuel Surcharges *A surcharge will be incurred if the diesel price rises above $1.65 per litre and will be calculated on the bowser price on settlement of charter invoice. A separate fuel surcharge will apply for Coral Sea and extended charters. These will be quoted on an individual basis. WHAT DOES THE DAILY CHARTER RATE INCLUDE? All meals and linen are provided, along with the services of the deckhands. They will not only clean and process your catch they will try and make your stay with us as enjoyable as it possibly can be. EXTRAS Alcohol, Bait and Soft Drink are all extras and can be supplied upon request. If you would like a pricelist, please don t hesitate to ask. Drink orders and special dietary requirements are required at least two weeks prior to departure. DEPOSIT All Extras (Beer, Wine, Spirits, Soft Drinks and Bait) A non-refundable deposit of a minimum of $6000-00 is required to secure a booking. DEPOSIT US DUE UPON CONFIRMATION. DESTINATIONS You are only limited by your imagination! We do a wide variety of charters ranging from: Capricorn Bunker Group Swain Reefs Coral Sea Whitsundays Shoal Water Bay If you have a special destination in mind, please don t hesitate to ask us. DEPARTURE / RETURN The vessel usually departs from O Connell Wharf located on Flinders Parade near the Yacht Club. Between 4-5pm for Swain Reefs Charters and 1-2pm for Coral Sea Trips. The vessel usually returns to port between 5-6 am unless requested otherwise for early flights etc. Departure times from the reef are determined by the area in which you are fishing, i.e. if you are fishing further north, you will depart the reef earlier in the afternoon to return to port in the necessary time. WHAT TO BRING For fishing charters, you should supply your own rods, reels, tackle, knife, dehooker etc. If you would like any advice on types of fishing equipment most commonly used, don t hesitate to contact Pat s Tackle World for details on 07 49723 692 or email patstackleworld@bigpond.com A small esky comes in handy in the dinghy to carry any refreshments with you & keep them cool. Most importantly a good hat, sunscreen, spray jacket, and sunproof clothing (long sleeve shirts / pants) are recommended. SAFETY Prior to departure your crew will run through our onboard safety procedures. Please take time to listen carefully and ask any questions that you may have. DIVING / SNORKELLING / SPEAR-FISHING* If your group would like to undertake diving or spear-fishing activities whilst on charter, please inform us at the booking stage. If we are not notified prior to your charter that you wish to undertake Diving / Snorkelling / Spear Fishing activities you will not be permitted to bring your equipment onboard. It is a legal requirement that we provide an extra crewman for tender operations / lookout duties as well as an Oxyviva which is to be onboard at all times.* These terms are not negotiable. *A surcharge will apply to cover these extra cost involved. CAR PARKING/MOTELS O Connell Wharf Car Park is located directly across the street from the departure Wharf. This car park is not a secure lock up but there are tenants on site. Bookings are to be made with the Iron Joy Office. Compleat Angler is located at the Marina Charter Wharf and provide car park facilities, pricing is available by calling 07 4972 7283. There are a number of Motels within walking distance to the Gladstone Marina. FOR THE JOURNEY HOME If you would like Dry Ice or Foam Boxes for your trip home, please advise us prior to your departure. (Charges apply) CABIN LAYOUT - All cabins have a flat screen TV with In-house Movie and Music Channels. - On Board Satellite TV. - All cabins on the lower deck have ensuites and king single bunks. For those who would like to road freight their fish home we will require details of delivery address prior to departure. (Charges apply) Kirby boxes are available for purchase upon request. Airline Foam boxes are required to air freight fish. We have an Airline Express Account which enables you to send fish at reasonable rates if this is more suitable to you. GLASS MINIMISATION POLICY In an effort to safely manage waste and reduce the risk of injury to persons onboard, we will be encouraging a minimal glass policy where reasonably practicable in 2012.
