Meet the Coaching Staff Head Coach Nicole Pannone Nicole Pannone enters her third year as the Head Women s Gymnastics Coach at Rhode Island College. Under her guidance, three RIC gymnasts qualified for the 2002 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships. Pannone had four gymnasts qualify for the 2001 NCGA Championships. Pannone, who hails from Cranston, Rhode Island, was a gymnastics coach at the Rita Beaulieu Dance and Gymnastics Center from December of 1994-02 and an assistant gymnastics coach at Coventry High School from November of 1997-00. She is a 1996 graduate of Rhode Island College with a bachelor s degree in sociology. Pannone lettered in women s gymnastics one season at RIC as a freshman in 1991-92, specializing on floor and beam. She also lettered in women s track and field as a sophomore in 1993. She is a 1991 graduate of Cranston High School East. Pannone resides in Johnston, Rhode Island with her husband Shawn and daughter Madison (nine months).
