General Information,50m Inspection / Maintenance General Information. Regularly secure the proper function of the sectional door but first ensure correct guiding of the lifting cable. Check for damage and wearout of assemblies and components; these are mainly: - various connections - gate blade - hinges, castors - railing system - spring unit - rope drums, lifting cables. In the event of irregularities, problems and questions unconditionally seek advice from the certified sectional-door-specialist. This instruction applies for sectional doors of all railing systems operated by pulling rope. Opening Slowly Unlock sectional door. Closing Pull up gate blade on it s hand grip and guide it to the limit stop (spring buffer). Slowly Move down gate blade out off the holding position by using drag rope (), then use hand grip for finishing closing process(). Slowly Complete closing process, press gate blade tightly against the floor by using hand grip. Lock sectional door. 3 4

This instruction applies for sectional doors of all railing systems operated by manual hand chain hoist. Electric drive dead man s control - Electric drive dead man s control - T00 T450 T400 T500 T00 T450 T400 T500 Operating Instructions, sectional door with electric drive - dead man s control - To avoid damage for men and materials, please regard the follwing instructions. This instruction applies for sectional doors of all railing systems operated by electric drives in dead man s control. Opening Opening and Closing in case of emergency 3 4 Attention, area of sectional door has to be free during operation. Closing By shortly touching the key up ( ), sectional door opens till upper end position is reached. Unlock electric drive (break off feed line) and protect it against an unauthorised re-start. By pulling the red marked end of the rope () the emergency manual hand chain drive will be engaged. Now the sectional door can be opened () or closed (3) optionally by using the emergency hand chain. If the reason for the emergency operation does not exist any longer; the emergency manual hand chain drive can be disengaged by pulling the green marked end of the rope (4). The electric drive can be released. Attention, area of sectional door has to be free while operation. Stop By shortly touching the key shut ( ), sectional door is closing. Downward movement is going to stop when the key shut is released. STOP By touching the key stop ( ), sectional door is going to stop in any position. 7 8

Electric drive pulse contact control - Electric drive pulse contact control - T00 T450 T400 T500 T00 T450 T400 T500 Operating Instructions, sectional door with electric drive - pulse contact control - To avoid damage for men and materials, please regard the following instructions. This instruction applies for sectional doors of all railing systems operated by electric drive with pulse contact control. Opening Opening and closing in case of emergency 3 4 Attention, area of sectional door has to be free while operation. Closing By shortly touching the key up ( ), sectional door will open till upper end position is reached. Unlock electric power system (break off feed line) and protect it against an unauthorised re-start. By pulling the red marked end of the rope () the emergency manual hand chain drive will be engaged. Now, sectional door can be opened () or closed (3) as required by using the emergency hand chain. If the reason of the emergency operation does not exist any longer, the emergency hand chain drive can be disengaged by pulling the green marked end of the rope (4). The electric drive can be released Attention, area of sectional door has to be free while operation. Stop By shortly touching the key shut ( ), sectional door will close till the lower end position is reached. Caution, Danger of crushing Because of reasons concerning it s adjustment, the safety rail is effectless, in the very lowest position (ca 0 40 mm). STOP By touching the key stop ( ) the sectional door is going to stop in any position. 9 0
