It s your turn to join a team in the Volvo Ocean Race! Lucky you!! Teamwork is essential to win the race. The Volvo Ocean Race is the ultimate test for any team. What personality do you need to be part of a Volvo Ocean Race team? All in a days work! Each sailor s day and night onboard is broken down into blocks of 4 hours. Fill in the boxes with the different actions the sailors might do during their time at sea. Long before satellite technology sailors used the sun, stars and planets to know their location whilst at sea. The wingspan of an Inmarsat satellite is twice the length of a Volvo Ocean 65 boat!
