PRODUCT GUIDE Husqvarna s legacy represents a unique chapter in the story of motorcycles.with a history spanning over 100 years, our bikes have dominated all off-road categories, allowing us to capture 69 World Titles in Motocross, Enduro and Supermotard. There are no secrets behind this huge success. Pure passion drives us to craft technologically superior bikes that satisfy riders worldwide. With its new 2008 Enduro and Motocross range, Husqvarna wants to give to all off-roaders the chance to take on new challenges and achieve even greater results. Our 2008 range stands apart from all other brands, thanks to our continuing tradition of cutting-edge technology, unique style, and incomparable performance, with attention to the smallest detail. Four-stroke TE/TC models have been completely redesigned along three main lines: handling, performance and style. Two-stroke WR/CR models have been improved to make these bikes even more like the race models our Husqvarna Factory Teams take to the track every weekend.

4-STROKE MODELS HUSQVARNA ENDURO AND MOTOCROSS 4 STROKE 2008 An injection of innovation.this can synthesize the work done by Husqvarna on new Enduro and Motocross four stroke 2008 models. The chassis is completely new: Frame, rear suspension, rear frame, ergonomics and plastics. Enduro engines are equipped with fuel injection. Let s take it step-by-step. FRAME The new Enduro and Motocross 2008 range is lighter, lower and slimmer through the use of completely different geometries compared to 2007 models.the seat is lower by 10 mm, radiator panels are 40mm less in width.the motorcycle s total weight is now 4 kg less than the 2007 model.the frame is a semi-perimeter steel structure having oval and box tubes and a steering angle between 26 and 28.The advantages of this new frame are that it permits a very advanced riding position with ergonomics designed to make riders of varying statures better fit into the ideal riding position, both while sitting and standing on the footpegs. Steering stoppers are new and positioned on the frame. Footrests have been moved forward by 15 mm. The aluminium engine guards and frame guards have also been redesigned to be more compact and light. The tank has been modified and is mounted both on Enduro and Motocross models. The rear suspension is completely new, with a brand new link, new swingarm and a new offset Sachs shock absorber, revised for new progression. The new rear suspension has been designed with the intent of reducing the load on the frame which is lower by 40% compared to 2007 models. The new shock absorber has an 18mm piston in place of the previous 16mm type, with more oil flow thereby offering improved adjustability. New is the sub frame, reducing by 1 kilo the assembly of rear frame, seat and new airbox. The new design of frame/suspension allows for a straight air inlet duct with notable benefits in terms of air intake. TC and USA TXC models feature the new Marzocchi 50mm forks with new sealed pumping element, while for TE models, forks come without the sealed cartridge. The bodywork is all new, having a fuel tank equipped with fuel pump for Enduro injection models, with 8 litres capacity. New is also the tank cap, easier to open. All Enduro and Motocross models will have new fatbar Tommaselli and new handlebar clamps.

4-STROKE MODELS ENGINE 250, 450 and 510 Enduro engines adopt a fuel injection system developed in collaboration with Mikuni. Motocross engines are with carburettors. Enduro and Motocross models have both a new kick start system, but TE models are also equipped with electric starter. The engines have been improved to be more functional and have better reliability thanks to the use of a new valve lifting system, new chain tensioner, and clutch basket. New are the exhaust systems that are now positioned on the left hand side of the motorcycle. Even the engine s look has been revised. Black mat paint for the crankcase, aluminium colour for both cylinder and head, valve cover in racing red.

4-STROKE MODELS 2008 FOUR STROKE HUSQVARNA ENDURO AND MOTOCROSS MODELS. WHAT S NEW: ERGONOMICS, SADDLE AND NEW TANK/SADDLE POSITIONING Saddle height lowered by 10 mm to 40 mm and has a more comfortable ergonomic shape that allows the rider to have a better riding position and move towards the front end. Foot pegs advanced by 15 mm, gap between tank/saddle reduced by 15 mm to 40 mm. FILTER BOX More compact design with battery housed externally. The new layout makes filter maintenance easier while also improving efficiency. TAPERED TUBING REAR SWINGARM Asymmetrical geometry extruded box aluminium centre unit housing the off-set shock absorber. TANK AND FUEL CAP: New cap on narrower tank. For Enduro models, the tank is fitted with injection pump and return-less fuel injection system and has eight litres capacity. SIDE PANELS Neater and lighter GEOMETRY New wheelbase, steering angle, rake and weight distribution FRAME Oval and box steel tubing frame weighing 1 kilo less. Specially designed to house and give easy access to the injection system, thus simplifying maintenance. SUB-FRAME ASSEMBLY Simplified and structurally more efficient lay out in aluminium squared tubes SOFT DAMP SYSTEM Progressive action soft-damp system, new progression curve with improved performance. Reduced load on frame, designed to optimise chain tightening effect as well as traction. SACHS SHOCK ABSORBER Fitted with 18mm piston and valve system to optimise travel inversion and to make rebound and compression settings more efficient and more adjustable. FORKS New Marzocchi 50 mm forks with sealed pump on TC and TXC models.the new pump is positioned in the tube to reduce the mass in motion. TE models forks present new settings and finish. HANDLEBARS New black anodised Tommaselli handlebars featuring new clamps and no cross bar.

EXHAUST PIPES AND SILENCERS SUITED FOR DB KILLER Titanium exhaust pipes and silencer for Cross models. Steel exhaust pipes and aluminium silencer for Enduro models. Steel catalyser, exhaust pipes and silencer on Euro 3 models. ENGINE AND FRAME PROTECTIONS Lighter and more compact. New design. ENGINE LOOK Black crankcases, red valves cover. GEAR BOX SHAFT ASSEMBLY To offer smoother gear engagement STARTER UNIT GEARS AND KICKSTART Reduce the absorption of energy during starting and improve reliability. The new kickstart optimises resistance, weight, ergonomics and efficiency. CLUTCH UNIT To optimise reliability and functioning. New plate package featuring new friction materials. RIGHT SIDE CRANKCASE COVER WITH OIL LEVEL INSPECTION PORT OIL FILTER To optimise filtering, oil operating pressure and provide improved life span for the hardest working components.

2-STROKE MODELS HUSQVARNA CR 125 2008 Husqvarna have used all their experience in giving the two-stroke CR 125 a comprehensive make over. The company still has great faith in the 125 as an introductory machine for younger riders moving up from minicross to their first real motorbike and the 125 is a highly competitive ready-to-race product. The block is completely new and now features 5 transfer ports for more power and better delivery at all engine speeds. Modifications have also been made to the inlet and exhaust ports for better performance. The exhaust valves too have been redesigned to optimise exhaust gas sealing. The connectors for the external valve breathers have been removed and valve lever pressure is now regulated by grooves on the new valves.

2-STROKE MODELS HUSQVARNA WR 125 2008 The Husqvarna WR 125 is the two-stroke Enduro bike that keeps on winning even when up against more powerful 250 cc fourstroke machines. Bartosz Oblucki s wins in the 2006 World and European Championships prove just that. The same block as on the CR has been fitted to the new 2008 version of the WR 125 along with a new crankshaft, a modified guard and closer second gear ratios to allow the rider better performance on exiting corners.as on all the two-stroke models, the forks are 45 mm Marzocchi with black struts and the rear suspension features a Sachs shock absorber with integrated reservoir. The new tapered Tommaselli handlebars have no cross bar and are the same as those fitted to the CR with new clamps that allow the riding position to be customised.

2-STROKE MODELS HUSQVARNA WR 250 2008 The tireless WR 250 too has benefited from the same improvements as made to its smaller siblings.the improvements include new tapered Tommaselli handlebars with no cross bar, new handlebar clamps on the adjustable steering plate, new 45 mm Marzocchi forks with black struts and a new Sachs shock absorber.
