SEPTEMBER 2016 EDITION UCA Neighborhood News President s Message by Dennis Seid Now that school is back in session, just a reminder to watch out for those children walking to and from school --- please observe the posted speed limits and please, do not text, talk or search for Pokemon on your cell phone while driving as our kids need our undivided attention for their safety. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Remember the days of drive-in movies? Well, while we cannot exactly replicate the parking lot, speakers and snack bar that were so identifiable to 1950 s Saturday night entertainment, we can do the next best thing. Mark your calendars on September 10, 2016 for the annual UCA Movie Night as we turn the McGuffey greenbelt area into McGuffey Theater and present Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Bring your chairs, pillows and blankets and we will supply hot dogs, soft drinks, chips, snow cones, door prizes and face painting to ensure a fun filled night under the stars. The event will start at 5:30pm with the movie beginning at sunset. This is an event presented to all UCA homeowners free of charge. Come and join us for an enjoyable night and a chance to reconnect with your neighbors!
