Welcome The Townsville Game Fishing Club Inc welcomes all participating members and guests to the 2017 Ladies Game Fishing Day. The objective of this event is to increase the profile of the TGFC, the Townsville offshore fishery and above all, allowing women of all ages to have a fun day out whilst raising valuable money for the Townsville Women s Centre. North Queensland Combined Women s Services (The Women s Centre) is a free health and wellbeing community service for women of North Queensland. For thirty years the Women s Centre has provided services to an average of fourteen thousand women per year, delivering assistance to thousands of women and their children. This organization ensures the safety of women escaping domestic violence and in particular supports those who have been sexually assaulted. Our communities most marginalized and disadvantaged women are able to access free information, referrals, support and counselling. The current Centre is in need of a refurbishment and upgrading. This project will provide the space and facilities needed to increase access to support services and healing to all women throughout the region. Supporting women to safety and investing in their health and well-being is the base in which to build a healthy community. This building project will enable increased support to victim/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and improve regional responses to empower change for a violence free community. 60.00 per senior lady angler Incl. a Tournament Fishing Shirt. 30.00 per junior lady angler (U16) Incl. a Tournament Fishing Shirt. 35.00 for Extra Tournament Fishing Shirts Prize Categories CHAMPION FEMALE ANGLER CUMULATIVE POINTS CHAMPION BOAT RUNNER UP FEMALE ANGLER CUMULATIVE POINTS FIRST MARLIN CHAMPION ANGLER CUMULATIVE POINTS FIRST SAILFISH RUNNER UP ANGLER CUMULATIVE POINTS HARD LUCK AWARD LARGEST TUNA, MACKERAL, TREVALLY, COBIA, WAHOO, QUEENSFISH, DOPHINFISH
