TEAM INVITATION On behalf of the Argentinean Ski Federation (FASA), Catedral Alta Patagonia (CAPSA) and the Catedral World Cup Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite your national team to attend the FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup competitions from September 6-10 th, 2017 in Cerro Catedral, Bariloche, Argentina. We are excited to be hosting two FIS Snowboard Cross World Cups on September 9 th and 10 th. Both events will be held in accordance with the International Ski Federation (FIS) rules for competition & World Cup rules. All national associations affiliated with FIS are invited to attend and compete. September 10th, 2017: Qualification & Finals Snowboard Cross, Race II September 11th, 2017: Departure Day COMPETITION RULES FIS International Competition Rules and Rules for the FIS Snowboard World Cup will be applied. LIABILITY All athletes, officials and members of National Ski Associations, who attend and participate in the event, shall do so at their own risk. Above all the Organizing committee, Catedral Alta Patagonia resort, the FIS, Argentinean Ski Federation (FASA), race staff, sponsor and suppliers, their agents, employees and volunteers shall not be responsible for any losses or injuries incurred or suffered by any athlete, official or other person in conjunction with the organizing or staging of the event. INSURANCE Each individual NSA is responsible for providing sufficient insurance for its participants athletes and officials (ICR art. 204.2, 212.4, 212.5). The Organizing committee, Catedral Alta Patagonia resort, the FIS and Argentinean Ski Federation (FASA) decline any responsibility for accidents, damages or lost equipment during the training or racing days, nor are they liable to third party claims. ENTRIES Entries will be accepted in accordance with FIS & WC quotas and rules. All entries must be send by National Ski Associations through the FIS Online Entry system at Member section of FIS website: http://www.fis-ski.com Entries by e-mail or fax will not be accepted.
Entries deadlines: Provisional entries: 30.07.2017 Final entries: 29.08.2017 The final number of your competition team (including competitors and officials) and the names of participants must be submitted to the organizing committee no later than 29.08.2017 as per rule 5.6 in the Rules for the FIS Snowboard World Cup. FIS has established nation Quotas for World Cups. National Snowboard Teams can only enter World Cup Competitors according to the Quota limitations. The payment (in cash or by credit card) has to be done in the race office on the arrival day. ACCOMMODATION All teams will be accommodated in: Hotel Villa Huinid 4* Address: Av. on a half board basis at the FIS rates: 80 CHF for the athletes and officials (WC Rules art.5.2) and 110 CHF for additional officials and service personnel (WC Rules art. 5.3, 5.4) for the periods of the event only. In order to accommodate all riders, coaches and officials in a correct way, we do need your announcement of team size on time. After 10.08.2017 the FIS rate for hotel accommodation can t be guaranteed anymore. The accommodation expenses have to be paid at the Race Office by the team captains. Each team will be held responsible for any damage incurred during the stay. Any kind of extras must be paid by the teams or athletes themselves. No Shows become charged to the National Associations directly. Please note that accommodations will be available at the FIS rate for the dates of the program only. Early arrivals and late departures are subject to availability and are not available at the FIS rate.
