PARTICIPANTS Open to all the athletes belonging to a club of Synchronized Swimming, as well as regional teams or national teams. Category for athletes with physical disabilities * Category for athletes with cognitive disabilities * FINA regulation shall be apply for the period 2017-2021; all the participants by the age group are still members of the category from January 1 st until December 31, according to the age which are, at the end of December 31 (12 of the night) the year of the competition. The athletes who meet the age for one or more categories, may participate in both categories provided do the figures or technical routines and the corresponding registration. JUDGES We ask to all the clubs send a mínimum of one (1) judge to support the competition. The club or team, that do not send at least one judge will have a penalty of $500 pesos (US$32) for Club or team for registered athlete and will have to be covered before the start of the competition. Registered judges must be available to the Organizer Committee during the competition, in case one of the judges is submitted in time and form to the judges meetings will be penalized to the club with $500.00 (US$25) per day. Delegates: One (1) delegate for every club or team registered. Awards: Medals for fist, second and third place in each event by category will be awarded. A trophy will be awarded to the Club that most points accumulated in all categories. (FINA system) Verification of documents and swimsuits: Documents from each of the competitors will be verified during the technical meeting to corroborate the age that has been previously registered. In the same way it shall be verified that the swimsuits comply with the specifications required according the FINA rules. The digital format will be used for the music of the routines. Delegates from each participating club will be responsible for the delivering the music on a USB, pointing the event, category and surname of the participant. The coaches should review each digital file quality, timed time and integrity of tracks. It is suggested between 2 and 3 seconds of time between play of the track and the beginning of the music for each competition. Pool diagram: In accordance with the rule SS24.2 of FINA, the Organizing Committee will send the diagram of the facility on or before May 18, 2018. Airport: Cancun International Airport. Judges and coaches clinic An extraordinary opportunity for the judges and coaches and future participating coaches generated through analysis of videos and work teams, constructive discussions form different point of view that allows analyzing the different elements of the free routines to understand and enjoy this beautiful sport a little more. Thematic event and Coexistence Tour Save the planet! In one of the most beautiful natural scenery in the Maya region of Cancun, the participating athletes sent a message of peace and harmony to our mother earth. Cenotes are natural pools which have some of the most crystal-clear sweet water of the planet, surrounded by extensive greenery and a climate of about 28 Celsius degrees, this presentation will be the first international Synchronized Swimming show in such an extraordinary natural setting. Athletes, spectators, companions, family members and general public can enjoy this extraordinary experience that incorporate the adventure, nature and the synchronized swimming on a single expression of love and respect for our planet. ADDITIONALS TRANSPORTATION For transportation free of charge is necessary to do the hotel reservation through our Organization Committee, any type of transportation will not be offered to participants and/or accompanying persons staying in different official hotels or to participants staying in the official hotel for own account. Official transportation will be provided on the days and times marked as officials and the same route will be respected, for security, transport may not make stops or deviate the path already assigned in advance.
