I had a grand total of 12 surveys returned to me, regarding the compulsory state meet competitions. I would like to thank the same few Gymnastics programs that have participated in every one of my surveys to date. If you would like to be heard I need to hear from you. Of the surveys and verbal feedback I did receive, it was mostly positive. Of the rest that I did not hear from, I can only assume that that you were satisfied with the state competitions. State Meet Fee Assessment: How Does It Work Colorado Women's U.S.A.G. voted in June of 2004 to institute a meet assessment fee for the 2004-2005 competition season. The reason for instituting this fee is to develop positive cash flow to help Colorado U.S.A.G. operate in the black enabling it to do more for its athletes and coaches. The assessment is $1.00 per/athlete for any U.S.A.G. sanctioned meet in the state of Colorado. The assessment amount is to paid to Colorado U.S.A.G. with in two weeks after each sanctioned meet. If the fee is not paid in a timely manner, scores for your meet will not be valid for Colorado state qualification and your gym will not be eligible to participate in the 2005-2006 meet draw. Some of this money will help to sponsor the compulsory workshop to be held in June (25-26). It will be used to send coaches to national clinics, and bring back the information to teach at our own Colorado workshop. We look forward to hearing from you!! Gymnastics Plus will be hosting The Level 8 Regional Championships @ Denver University - The Ritchie Center. Please take time to go support this meet if you will not be participating. Encourage your gym parents to take the time to go see this event, it is a big eye opener. April 8 10 www.regionthree2005level8.com Gymnastics Plus 303-512-0799
