COMPETITION INFORMATION Facility Information: Vancouver Aquatic Center - 1050 Beach Ave, Vancouver, B.C. Pool Information: 8 lanes, 25 Meters Competition Pool, Electronic Timing, Separate 20.70 metre warm up/cool down. A minimum of 6 lanes for warm up/cool down will be available at all times. Awards: Participants will be awarded a results certificate. Registration/Check-In: Registration/Check -In will be 3:30pm 6pm Friday April 26, and 8am 10am Saturday, April 27 on west side of the pool deck at Vancouver Aquatic Center. Mandatory Positive Positive Check-In is required for the 1500 Freestyle on Friday by 5pm, and the 800 Freestyle by Meet Check-In: the end of the Meet on Saturday, April 27 th. Eligibility: Open to all swimmers registered with their Provincial, National or State Masters Organization. Registered Canadian Masters swimmers must provide 9-digit Registration # with their entry form. Out-of-country swimmers need proof of affiliation. Swimmers must have attained the age of 18 by April 26th, 2013. Seeding & relay As per MSC Rules, seeding will be done by time, slowest to fastest. All events are timed finals. information: Men and women will be seeded together in the same events by time and at the meet manager s discretion. This will be a cardless meet with the exception of relays. Relay names must be submitted to clerk of course on Friday, before the start of the 1500; on Saturday all relay cards must be submitted before the start of the 200 breast; on Sunday, all relay cards must be submitted before the start of the 800 free. Failure to submit cards at these times will result in not being allowed to swim relays. 800m/1500m: The 800/1500 Freestyle may be swum 2 per lane and will be seeded and run at the discretion of the Meet Manager. If the 800/1500 are swum 2 persons per lane, then swimmers may only swim Front Crawl, no other strokes will be permitted. Entry Cost: $85 - Flat Fee including relays. Includes a set up fee for scaffolding used at meet. Banquet: An awards banquet will be held the Saturday evening at the Vancouver Community College (VCC) Downtown Campus - corner of Hamilton & Dunsmuir entrance (200 block Dunsmuir St). The banquet will start at 6pm. Beer & wine may be purchased by swimmers. The cost of the banquet is $10 for MSABC members and $20 for non-msabc members. The banquet will be limited to 150 guests. MSABC Annual General The Annual General Meeting for MSABC will be held 30 minutes after the final event on Meeting: Saturday in the lower level classroom, access from pool deck by the west side of the pool. Signs will be placed for directions on site.
